I can so relate to this quote. It's fairly easy for me to get in 60 minutes of exercise under normal circumstances, but controlling what goes on my plate takes some strength & willpower!! Measuring & weighing your food is crucial. I've learned that eyeballing it doesn't work most of the time because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. But, I am getting pretty good at being able to determine how much 3 ounces of lean protein is before I place it on the scale. I use my scale (thank you hubby), my measure cup & my measuring spoons every day.
Be patient with yourself.
Some things just take time. You are not going to consistently lose 1-2 pounds every single week. Trust me, I know! Just when you get going, life will happen & you'll have a setback. It's ok. Just do the best you can. Life happens to everyone -- it's just a fact of . . . well . . . life.

Thank you for reading my blogs, day in & day out. I was a bit afraid to put myself out there initially, so I was on SP for quite a while before I wrote my first blog. I am an "encourager" by nature & wrote my blogs for me because I need encouragement every day. I never dreamed that anyone else would be interested in them.
