My husband jokes that I get up "in the middle of the night" to get ready for work. It's not actually the middle of the night, but it is very early in the morning (3:45 a.m.). I have a long commute to work and even though I have been working in the same office complex for 25 years & getting up very early in the morning, I am STILL not a morning person. It's really hard to be this chipper this early in the morning when I'd love to sleep for another couple of hours.
After a long day at work, the LAST thing I want to do is go to the gym, but I really can't get up any earlier, so we work with what we have, right? But, I go to the gym most every evening on my way home from work. It's not only good for my health, but it keeps me from taking out my frustrations of the day on DH when I get home.
The biggest plus is that I feel AMAZINGLY wonderful by the time I get home. I hold onto that feeling every day so that I make sure I go to the gym before I come home.
So today, gym bag packed -- check; ice water -- check; gym shoes -- check. I'm ready for Zumba class this evening!!
