SNOW, SNOW, GO AWAY !!!!

LUV THE STUFF, BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! 22 INCHES AND COUNTING. 25 MPH WINDS AND IT'S 28 DEGREES OUT. 17 INCHES LAST WEEK. I'VE NEVER MISSED 2 SUNDAYS OF CHURCH IN A ROW SINCE FOEVER. THE KIDS WILL BE IN SCHOOL ALL SUMMER. THEY MISSED 4 LAST TIME AND WILL PROBABLY MISS ALL OF NEXT WEEK. OH, LET ME STOP COMPAINING. MY FAMILY IS ALL WELL.

    I'm so sorry that you guys are getting hit so bad!!! I work for Southwest and all our flights were cancelled out of PHL, BWI and IAD....a couple of co-workers are stuck in IAD. Also a good friend is a photographer for the Post and he's been sent out on a couple of assignments.

I'll keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers; stay warm.

OMG! What is going on??? I am at home nursing a really bad cold. I don't like being sick at all. I pray my healing sooner than later.

FASTING AND PRAYING FOR HAITI!

I HAVE BEEN PRAYING AND FASTING ALL DAY FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN HAITI AND THEIR LOVED ONES. I HAD TO TURN OFF OF CNN EARLIER BECAUSE THE DEVASTATION WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HANDLE. I WAS SO HEAVY AND I REALIZED THAT THE BEST WAY TO HELP IS TO FAST AND PRAY.

MY CHURCH JUST SENT A MISSIONARY GROUP TO ETHIOPIA AND WE HAD A HUGE CONSECRATION SERVICE FOR THEM. MY FAMILY WAS PLANNING TO GO BACK TO DISNEY WORLD THIS SUMMER. MY 14 YEAR OLD SON SAID THAT WE SHOULD DO A 2 WEEK MISSIONARY VENTURE IN INSTEAD. HE WAS SO MOVED MY THE SERVICE. I JOKINGLY SAID THAT I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO THE CARRIBEAN. WELL, MY SON GOT ON THE INTERNET AT 7 THIS MORNING CONTACTING OUR MISSIONS BOARD TO SET UP A TRIP TO HAITI TO SERVE 2 WEEKS THIS SUMMER.

    I live in the snowbelt, so it's ok to the extent that children love it when school is out and I love to see their faces as they play in it...otherwise, as long as it knows when to stop it's alright!
