I've lost 77 lbs and my LDLs went up. My mind has been buzzing about with all I need to do.
My cholesterol LDLs went from 286 up to 303, doctor is putting me on Lipitor. I researched it and made a "battle plan" besides praying.. :) ..
My body is producing too much cholesterol, no matter what I eat. Now i need this prescription and there are many side effects.
I'm going to supplement to counter-act all the side effects-
I don't eat much meat and measure my olive oil & coffee creamer and eat low sodium, eat raw unsalted nuts and eat lots of veggies.
Lipitor reduces co enzyme Q10 in the liver, so I'm going to take "coenzyme Q10" supplements.
It also will reduce my metabolism, so will take "raspberry keytone" supplements to help.
And, it affects your memory, like Alzheimer disease does, so going to take "ginkgo biloba" to increase blood flow to my brain and keep eating healthy fats and nuts to help my brain.
I'm really not an exerciser, but trying to change that. I've been doing cardio-leg exercises off you tube, every other day for 2 weeks now. Also walking. The exercises I do are strengthening my legs for roller skating. I ordered some good skates from the rink. Used our tax return money. Was a good investment. Also invested in bowling shoes. For only $24.95 4 adults & up to 6 kids can bowl 2 games a day all summer, at no additional cost. Renting bowling shoes costs $4, so that will add up fast. The bowling alley is close to home too.
My skates will look like these. I ordered men's black skates because they are wider.

I survived Christmas & new years eve without gaining. Drank homemade sugar-free White Russians at Christmas Made with Torani's Coffee syrup, brewed coffee, cream, almond milk & vodka. New years eve I drank sugar-free Pina Coladas made with Skinny Girl Pina Colada drink, Torani's Coconut syrup and water. Such delicious holidays!
My 14 yr old cut my hair for Christmas too. She used electric clippers and pair of scissors. It manages better than any salon cut I've had.

I'm exhausted, had our Jobs Daughter semi-annual Installation Ceremony yesterday. So glad to be out of my evening gown, high heels & nylons! Bumming around today in loose leggings, over-sized long sleeve t-shirt and slipper Boots.
Filled out invitations for family Christmas Party. I text, email & send postal invites so they have no during this busy time they have reminders.
Did some Christmas shopping early this morning and wrapped the gifts.
Arms & legs feel like lead. Now I'm so ready for a nap.

Going to yard sales and my do I get hungry. Got some healthy snacks ready! Will pack sandwiches as well. I buy low carb soy flaxseed bread. I make sure the lunch meat is no sugar added. I weigh nut into 1 oz snack bags and measure strawberries into 1 cup containers. Silk Almond milk has 30 calories and no carbs and 1 cup has 45% of my daily calcium. Skim milk has 80 calories and 12 (sugar)carbs and 1 cup has 30% of my daily calcium. So sugar free almond is the winner hands down. I buy the vanilla flavor too.
Between my mother's hand-me-downs, my old "skinny clothes" and yard sales, I've got lots of clothes to wear now for summer & winter.
Already went to one yard sale today, an estate sale, and got myself a coffee grinder. Will gring coffee and my golden flax seeds into meal to make breads.

Woke up late, very rare for me, as I am a early riser. I read newspaper, planned my grocery shopping, made up meal plan for today, checked all my emails & responded to all my Facebook & Sparkpeople posts, cleaned up the house because I had repair person over to fix my refrigerator.
Here is today's menu:
Breakfast Low Carb Microwave Blueberry Muffin (has 1 whole egg in it) & cup of Almond milk
Snack- salad w/ cheese (for me, daughter w/o cheese) & 2 carbs f Ranch Dressing
Lunch- Taco Salad with chicken grilled w/ onion, a bit of shredded cabbage, lettuce, spinach, bell pepper (& cheese for me)
Snack- Strawberries & Blueberries in sauce made from stevia & guar gum
Dinner- Stir fry with chicken, green veggies like broccoli, green beans, cabbage etc, 1 T Healthy Balance 100 mg Omega 3 oil, 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil & 1 T soy sauce.
Snack- celery stick w/ 1 T sugar free peanut butter
