Sad news....

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

Just got word my neighbor of over 20 years passed away last night. He was in his early 50's, went to work but did not make it home. Why at this time of year? I'm jus so sad.....

Very sad and almost scary. I had an elderly neighbor I was friends with just "disappear" a couple months ago and her house go up for sale. I haven't found anyone to talk to about what happened, if she died or just went into assisted living or something. One of the reasons I moved from my old house was because of the elderly couple and their starting to get major health problems, have to be taken to the hospital in the ambulance more often, etc. I loved them too much to "watch" that. We bought our house from their daughter, and we knew their son and grandchildren,e tc. so I knew they'd be in good hands but I just couldn't watch it.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always sad when someone so young passes. We had a couple of car accidents where those under 60 passed away.

Happy sparking!

So sorry to hear. Don't try to figure out why. It only makes you sadder and won't change what happened. Grieve. It's good for you. Do what you can to help the family.

I am sorry for the loss your neighbor. I lost someone 12 years ago during the holidays and it has never been the same for me. Life is short, live it to the fullest.

Congratulations!!! It seems like you strain and work out, eat carefully, nothing. You slack off and step on the scale and BOOM! Every body is different and yours seems to like dumping weight in spurts! Keep up the good work!

Keep trying...

Monday, November 03, 2014

So far i've had good/great days/weeks and then things go awry. The one thing learned so far is to Keep Trying! There will be days when i fall off the fitness and/or decent eating scale but it's like riding a horse...when you fall, get back up and ride. This is going to be my motto for the rest of this year. emoticon emoticon
