OH MY COLD WEATHER IS HERE TO STAY (BURRR)

The cold weather has come in like a roaring lion.But i shall not fret,because i will find eventive ways to burn those calories.One thing i love about winter is plenty of homemade vegetable beef soup,homemade chicken noodle soup,and homemade chili. so i will still be able to get my vegetables in and stay warm in the process.As well as having homemade soups i can eliminate a lot of the sodium from canned soups by making homemade soups and using frozen mixed vegetables,not canned.Now it's time to get me a workout schedule planned out,so i will not lapse in my fitness progress.Remember planning is key. emoticon

    Super strategies!! Homemade soup is a brilliant idea for those colder than cold days and nights! I trust you were able to create a workout plan that will allow for the cold days, too? YARD WORK

TODAY IS DAY 2 OF YARD WORK.I AM SO HAPPY GOD HAVE BLESSED US WITH ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY TO WORK IN THE YARD AND GET EXERCISE IN TOO emoticon well check in later. i am ready to sweat off some of these pounds.

    We are here! Now for the time we are not, plan ahead. If possible, volunteer to make a dish, or share recipes with family/friends that will keep you on track. Who knows, they may find the recipes are keepers! Wouldn't that be wonderful!

MAKING BETTER STRIDES

Today was a better day for me.Sometimes i feel discouraged.So i try to avoid the mirror. I know i am making a huge strides in my health and fitness. It use to be a time when i would sit in front of the tv and binge eat with little to no physical activity. Now i am feeling the desire and motivation to move. i find myself making reasons to go outside and do yard work just to get in some exercise no matter what the temp feels like. when i exercise i feel happy energetic and at peace. I would have never thought i would be that type of person who would want to exercise . Not in my wildest dream but i do emoticon

Today was a very good day for me. I was very active. I felt like a machine. If i keep this momentum going i will begin dropping these pounds. Which i am so ready to do. I do know it is a process. Slow and steady wins the race. I have learned not to over do it and to listen to my body. I am very pleased and happy with myself.
