Internet Problems

My internet went down on the night of the 16 and we had to wait for the technician to get out here to fix it. He finally showed up and found that our modem went bad. After he left, we had 15 minutes of internet then it went out again so I had to spend a good 2 hours on the phone with 4 different csrs from the internet provider to find out why. Hopefully we have no more trouble from it, all though we do have some thunderstorms moving in, so it will probably go out from that.

Lymphedema Problems

My doctors apt went well this morning. My blood pressure is staying where it should be and the doctor is referring me to a lymphedema specialist for my legs. Trying to get this lymphedema under control before it gets too out of hand, and so far, what my doctor has me doing and the pills she has me on doesn't seem to be working all that well. On a brighter side, I start my water aerobics class tonight emoticon

  


CPAP

I started using a CPAP last week and so far it seems to be making me feel a little better. I'm still getting use to it and still not sleeping through the night but the sleep I'm getting now, is better quality than what I had before I started the CPAP.

    I know how hard it is to get used to using a CPAP but I have to say I love mine. It's made an amazing change in my life. Your sleeping will improve in no time. Great job of accepting you need it and working at getting accustomed to it. emoticon

Summer Fun With Water Exercise

I went down to our local Rec center today and registered for the water aerobics classes that begin this coming up Monday. I will be going 2 nights a week for 6 weeks. I'm hoping that this will give my metabolism a boost and my energy level goes up. Looking forward to it!!

My Goals

I signed up for 2 challenges yesterday, the 10 minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge, and Taming Your Sweet Tooth challenge. With both of these challenges I could very easily say my goals are to lose 10 pounds in 2 months, and to stop eating sweets and soda all together. But, I'm not going to do that. I gave this some thought, and, I realized that these goals will not be obtainable to me unless I change the way I look at myself. I need to quit being so negative and hard on myself and I need to quit crying over every little ounce I gain. So my goals for these challenges are not to lose the weight, but to turn all these negative, ugly thoughts about myself into more positive, loving thoughts. I need to start loving myself.
