I signed up for 2 challenges yesterday, the 10 minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge, and Taming Your Sweet Tooth challenge. With both of these challenges I could very easily say my goals are to lose 10 pounds in 2 months, and to stop eating sweets and soda all together. But, I'm not going to do that. I gave this some thought, and, I realized that these goals will not be obtainable to me unless I change the way I look at myself. I need to quit being so negative and hard on myself and I need to quit crying over every little ounce I gain. So my goals for these challenges are not to lose the weight, but to turn all these negative, ugly thoughts about myself into more positive, loving thoughts. I need to start loving myself.
