Hi guys

Friday, August 01, 2014

This year has been even worse than last year, but I am going to try again to lose weight. Too many high-fat foods this week emoticon So I will try to keep up with the food log to control what I eat. Part of the problem is the depression exhausts me, so I am late with shopping and cooking. Going to try to cut our sugar for awhile.

Taco bell breakfast - 2 DAYS worth of fat.

Monday, May 19, 2014

Had to get breakfast after fasting for labwork. I got a Taco Bell Breakfast Steak Crunchwrap. I just looked up the nutrition info. 38 grams of fat. Wow. No wonder it was so good. Oh well, back on the right path.

Yes the stuff that taste good are usually bad. We can splurge once in a while.

I had just discovered the Dorito Locos tacos. I gotta stop before I become one giant taco.

Gonna give this another go. Depression has been bad, so I will try upping the dose of the anti-depressants. I think spending time with friends would be more effective, but that's not gonna happen. I will have to refuse gifts of food from my BF's mom. She has given me chocolate, clam chowder, cheese dip...this has got to stop.

I will have to say no to my own mom, too. She offers me food every time I go over to her house, and now she is BUYING food for me, like Cheetos and Pepsi.

My lower back is in a lot of pain, so it will be hard to exercise. My shoulder is so painful, I thought it was dislocated last week.

Sometimes we have to say no without hurting any one feeling. When you are doing this things come at you. Good luck.

I am going to try to lose 12 lbs by New Year's. This is not easy. Darker days make you want to eat more and sleep more. It also tends to make depression worse.

Posting your goals is a great start. It helps keep you accountable and remind you of the end goal.

My trick is to not look out the window when I work out. That way I get up, workout and get ready for work and by the time i am out the door the sun is starting to make an appearance.

Co-worker is making me nuts. He cleaned his office and dumped his trash in the kitchen trash can, which he knows I empty. He has done this before. If I call him on it, he acts like he has no idea what I am talking about. And there is nothing I can do about it. emoticon

Remember...his day will come and he'll have to answer for all the wrong's that he's done.

If you've already spoken to him about it, he knows you know.. making him ignorant! You could drop the trash bag back into his office, but a wrong doesn't make another wrong right... so ... Be the better person and ignore his ignorance! Perhaps he will need something from you one day and you can say "NO!".
Hoping things get better for you... good luck! emoticon
