Achievement for our son and a snowstorm lol.

Last night my seven year old son had a huge honor. He was chosen out of all the first graders at school and two friends to read a story they have written. They read it in front of the school board, principles, teachers, parents, adminstrators and others. I was unable to go but my husband went and he said Zachary did so well and he was very impressed. He was such a stud and star I am sorry I missed it but I am very proud of my son with all his problems that was a huge honor for him.

Today it has been snowing all day and we are suppose to get another 5-7 inches tonight. We could end up with a total of 12 inches. I can not wait to go sledding with the kids.

    Shannon - Thanks for sharing. Arizona is beautiful. Mexican was my favorite food forever till I tried a spicy tuna hand roll. Yum. Congratulations on keeping the 80# off, forever I'm sure. Well went to my ww meeting with my daugther because my mother in law was sick again. I knew I needed to go to keep myself accountable. I am happy to report I lost 2.2 pounds this week. Woo hoo I think the exercise is finally catching up with me and the scale lol. I am going to put bob in tomorrow and workout with him. I think the best thing for me is to keep my body guessing and moving at all times. Need to workout before the super bowl tomorrow night.

I would recommend if you have a wii then get the game ea sports. It is a lot of fun and very challenging. Today was my first day on it and boy i can tell you my legs are hurting. You do squats, lunges, strength training and all sorts of things. The time really flies going to do it again tomorrow. I am hopping to get wii sports resort for my birthday. I am hoping to show a loss at ww on Saturday. I am not sure though eating more with more exercise but I think I am doing something wrong. I will just keep pushing at it and changing things up.

    Shannon - EA sports, good to know. Don't get discouraged, your doing really well. Look at your weight ticker and it says it all. I know it's frustrating when the scale isn't going down, believe me I know. lol You're changing and the healthy you is working out! Glad you got the EA sports and you'll have to let me know how you like the EA sport when you get it!

Goals for February and Birthday

Wow february already and need to make goals for the month. I would like to lose 7-9 pounds by the 17th of this month. I am turning 34 and want to keep changing my body. Going to have to avoid birthday cake and junk this month lol. We have valentine's day, Zachary's b-day and mine all in one month. I will plan and pre plan for the weeks. I feel I do better when I plan and when I do not. Still trying to figure out how much I should be eating with the amount of exercise.


Goals:
1. Walk five days a week 30-60 minutes.
2. Get on the wii every day for 30-60 minutes.
3. Strength train M/W/F 30 minutes plus abs and circle pro
4. Eat my fruits and veggies.
5. Lose 7-10 pounds this month

    Shannon - You have a great plan. I couldn't agree more about knowing what you'll be eating on those celebration days. Today's my birthday and I decided to have sugar free mint patties instead of cake. I had one for breakfast with coffee. 2 or 3 more after dinner. I'll bbq scallops and fillet migion.

The 7 to 10 pounds a month...oh boy that is a great goal. I'll try to hit that with you. Taking a deep breath and thinking I'll need to workout 2 to 3 hrs a day. I'm not sure how many cal. to eat eaither. It's telling me on the biggest Loser Wii I need 1900. Are they kidding? We can do this and what better place to hit it hard then today! emoticon
