Good Afternoon Friends,

Sorry I have not been here in a while... I am with out internet again but I am here at dad's using his internet until 3 pm CDT this afternoon. Dad wants to take Rob and me home at 3 pm this afternoon ok.

Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes!!! And Thank you all for all the comments from my last blog in February!

Rob and I have the portable washer and drier now and we started doing laundry last night. We hang up our close to dry due to we do not want our electric bill to get sky high again lol. But when I woke up this morning the clothes were dry lol. We would normally hang them out on the clothes line but it is suppose to rain today so we did not do that yet.

Well my long lost brother finally showed up at my parents house in May. His name is Stratton and he gave my parents his email address and they sent it to me too. So last month I sent him an email and I still have not heard from him yet. So I am still waiting for him to respond to my email lol. I hope to hear from him pretty soon.

My daughter Katelynd turned 18 in May and at the beginning of the year I sent her family a letter with my information on how she may contact me and I am still waiting for that fun event lol. I hope she wants to contact me now that she is old enough to do so.

I feel like I am going down hill with my depression though. I am beginning to feel the way I felt before I moved to Michigan and went for help for my depression. I do not see my case manager until Tuesday so I cannot talk to her about it until then. I may have to go see my med doctor before three months because of this. I am hoping I do not need a med change because of this. I have been having a bad time taking my meds again too so that could be it too.

I will be calling my dad tomorrow night to wish him a Happy Father's Day! I thought Father's Day was not until next week lol. I am glad I looked in my appointment calendar lol. I will not be able to talk to my dad long due to I am running low on minutes right now on my phone but he should be happy I called lol.

I have lost 1.7 lbs since May which I am proud of myself for even though I did not lose more weight lol.

Instead of two Special K Bars for breakfast I have been having one. I have also recently tried the Greek Yogurt and I love it but I am going to try the Yoplait Greek Yogurt next lol. With the Greek Yogurt I have been having one for breakfast when I am out of the Special K Bars lol. Right now I am out of both of the Special K bars and the Greek Yogurt, so I have to find something else for breakfast. It looks like it will be cereal for now lol.

I have to stay away from red meats now which is hard because Rob love the red meats lol. according to my doctor I should be eating fish, ground turkey, and chicken due to some labs I had done a couple of weeks ago. So that part of my diet is not going to well right now.

I have been eating peaches also. I go to Dollar General to pick up my peaches due to they have the only kind I really like and they are cheep lol. I also picked up some sunflower seeds there; they come in a plastic jar which makes it easier for me to eat and keep fresh.

I think that is all for now. I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm so sorry you are having a hard go of it, I will keep you in much prayer, sorry you are without internet but happy you are able to connect via your Dad's internet when there, Hope you get some answers from your Doctor, I encourage you to take your meds on a regular basis, hope this will help you...please keep in touch as much as you can... emoticon emoticon

Thank you all for your comments and I will stop by personally to comment on your page. I am sorry I have been here every day but I have not been participating but for my tracking meals and exercise. I have had a ruff week this week but I have been here for the most of it.

I went to my diabetes class Monday and I gained ten pounds in three/six months. My blood sugars have been sky high to due to I was on a brownie kick for about a week. And I have been eating right before I go to bed so that is not working out so I am trying not to do it anymore even if I am hungry lol. I was told if I cannot bring my blood sugars down to at least 150 and lower than I need to go back in and they will need to set me up with medication again. I was on medication before and that was when I first found out I was diabetic... They took me off the meds since it was controlled by my diet.

I am thinking about starting to write in the journals here too. But I was thinking using it more of a diary about my day. Using it for a depression let out/letting out my feelings of the day. I just have not started that due to I have not been blogging everyday like I should be doing. So once I get back on track with Blogging than I will start my journal also. The reason for me thinking of doing this is due to I had a really bad weekend. And the rest of this week has been a little stressful to me. I could even talk about good things there too lol. I am not sure how the jounal thing works... like if there is comments for that too or not, but I will figure that out as soon as I start using it lol.

    Journaling the bad stuff is ok, but try to journal by looking for the good. God is directing our steps and if we are going through trials, they are there to help us grow or learn something. Praise God even for the stuff we think isn't so great.

    Yes, be sure you combine your carbs with a protein and get a GOOD FAT in during the day, because that facilitates carbohydrate metabolism.

I would highly encourage you to keep a journal. Even if it's not on this site, it adds such clarity to the thought process, at least it did for me so that I could prioritize things and get my health straightened around.

    Remember, you can have liquids later in the evening.. they fill you up.. String cheese is a great protein to hold you over through the night.. Aldi's has their Fit and Active brand that is only 50 calories a pkg.. about $2.99 a bag..

Welcome to 2014!!! I am Back But for a Short Time...

Welcome to 2014!!! I hope that everyone had a blessed New Year!!!

Thank you everyone for all your support through the months that I have not been here! It is greatly appreciated!

Now I am only going to be here until April or May and this is due to the main drain pipe busted in the home we are renting and they cannot do anything about it until April or May when it warms up since we have been having below zero temperatures here. My landlord has called many companies to come in and see what they can do and they cannot do anything until then so we are staying at Rob's ma's until then and she has internet. Prayers are needed on this matter please.

So I am still on a role with losing the weight and with my diet. I am using the stairs here at ma's several times a day so I am getting my exercise that way and I have been getting out during the week walking so I am all good there.

The only problem is for tonight I had four hotdogs with pickle relish on a bun and I feel like I need more to eat. We normally have Macaroni and Cheese with hotdogs but not everybody likes the Macaroni and Cheese where we are staying so we did not have it here. If we would have had Macaroni and Cheese I would not have eaten the four hotdogs.

Other than that I am doing pretty good with my eating I think. I am trying to eat three meals a day like I normally do even though ma does not do that. I do need to get back to taking my vitamins with my medications though. I picked them all up since I could last month so all I need to do is start taking them again lol.

I know I can do this and I know you all can do what you all need to do too... So please keep up the great work!

    I know it's hard being displaced (I am displaced to my son's house from my own, in another state, due to a stoke and though they are good to me definitely not the same as m own place) but I know you can do this. Yah for you! And thanks so much for the goodie!

    I know it's hard eating properly when you are living in someone else's home, but you can do this. Don't give up on yourself. I am praying for you. Good for you for getting whatever exercise in that you can. Keep up the great work.

    I have fallen in love with jennie o turkey hot dogs and no guilt for eating them. Use the healthy life buns and it's really a good meal. Just keep Sparkin'!!!

    If you can drink your ten cups of water during the day, that will help too. Using the steps is great,, you can walk in place while watching tv, lift soup cans or do leg raises in the chair,,any movement!! Hot tea fills you up and heats you up too!

Hello My Friends,

I am so sorry I have not been here in a long time. I forgot my password for here and I just finally found it lol. So I am back and would like to say thank you to all that has commented on my blog, left comments on my page, and left me some gifts! I will give back as soon as I can ok. I will also try to be here more often when I can; I am still with out internet right now ok.

I have been losing more wait but I forgot my purse downstairs where I keep notes on what I have lost in the purse. I know I went from 216.something too 212.something. I just saw my dietitian last week and I only gained a pound over Thanksgiving lol.

I had a brake down (Upset) a few days ago and I am still feeling a little down now. Something that cheered me up again was I received a card from the family that has my first daughter and they sent me some photographs of her. So that cheered me up a bit. Tonight I was able to talk with my mom and my dad & step mom; that cheered me up a little bit more. All though those cheered me up a bit I am still feeling a little down.

We are looking into getting internet next month if we can afford it. I do hope that we can have internet soon before I go nuts at home with out it.

I hope you all had a Blessed Thanksgiving! And I hope your Christmas is a Blessed one!

Thank you ladies for all you comments back from all my blogs, Ladies! And Thank you Chelsea for the advice about leave comments for everyone that leaves comments any of my blogs. I do not have much time to do it right now so I am saying thank you to them and you here ok.

Well everything is going great here, I just do not have internet still yet lol. But we are hoping to get it soon and we use it when we can get to ma's or dad's. Right now we are visiting Rob's Family and I can use the internet here but tonight is the last night.

We have added a kitten to the family too. I am not to happy with the kitten right now but the neighbor that is having us watch them is going to be back sometime next month I hope lol.

I do not know if I have lost anymore wait yet, but I hope to be able to check at dad's before I go back home lol. I have been doing a lot of walking this week too. We went to an apple orchard yesterday and went to see some animals there besides whalking around the gift shop while we were there. After that we went shopping and I did some walking around the stores. Today we may be going to Lake Hurron to take some nature photographs and that would be somemore walking lol.

On the way home we are also stopping at a lot of lakes that we have not taken photographs of yet and other places to take photographs of them too. There are so many beautiful spots to stop on the way home and take Photographs so it is going to be a fun ride home again. The next time we come out here we will be comming down in the summer due to the last time we were down here it was in the spring and it was still snowing out here.

I know that we have been having a lot of rain where we live since we have been down here and it may be raining when we get home lol. But we are leaving tomorrow to head back home so the next time I will be able to use the internet it will be at ma's or dad's ok. I have been using the internet a lot lately I have stopped by here a lot but I never had time to write a blog here yet, but I did send some comments back to the friends that left me comments here while I am gone.

In addition I have been working on a lot of new graphics since I do not have the internet. If you would like to see and use my graphics for free send me a massage tittled "Your Graphics" and I will be happy to send you the link if I can do that here ok. I do not want to start trouble here so if it's not allowed I will not do it ok. I will have to read the terms here again ok lol.
