Savings on food

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

I read all sales ads and compare prices.I also clip coupons for items I use regularly or a new item if it looks like it may be really good.We have a Super Walmart both directions and they will comp any price in an ad.If I can pay for the gasoline and come out ahead I drive there.I buy generic canned and frozen goods often.Espically fruits and vegtabled.I do the Farmer's market on the square here from May to Oct.

We do also . Great Job! emoticon

Where I live We do not get in the fresh food amount so we have to wait for sales in winter. here the markets are more expenside in Summmer. We are blessed in Summer as one new neighbor had a green house and she was sharing her garden with neighbours. So when I am doing my eating healthy. I have to have the best I can. I live in the country our choice but now that the food is harder in winter to get. We freeze things in the summer. Now it is January so all most the food we frozed has been used. I bake my banana bread.

So now we have to look in the paper for sales.. Like no grapes here for months but we have had plentiful mandarin's cheap price. Now this week is oranges and Mandarines are now gone.

So with me having all the fruit in my healthy eating. I can only do what I can do.
Have made soup so that is good.

So have to shuffle about . If you do not. Then you go without and then take bananas

Our milk and cheese is going to go up in price. We have bought ahead skim powered milk and cheese when on sale.

Every day in every way I'm doing better than ever.My favorite scripture Quote-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.To me the glass is always half full not half empty. The beautiful girl on the right is my youngest grandaughter Demi only 17 years old.

I appreciate your positive attitude. I, too, see a glass half full. You've also quoted one of my very favorite scripture verses.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your child. I'm sure with your deep faith in the Lord you're handling it through Him.

Your granddaughter is beautiful. We have 13 grandchildren ranging in age from 21 yrs old to 2 yrs old. I'm anxiously awaiting great-grandchildren in a few years (but not too soon).

Is the thrill of holding a great-grandchild different from a grandchild?

God bless you on your journey,
Bonnie
