Thanks, loved the article. I believe every bit of it. I started a blog a couple of weeks ago to track my training for my first 5k and my weight loss. It helps me to continue with the training because I don't want to write that I did not train. I have also received lots of support by those reading it. It is one thing that helps me keep going.

What a Weekend!

Sunday, February 07, 2010

I am so happy to have w working washer/dryer again!! Finally getting caught up on the mountain of laundry!!

Watching the Super Bowl... Rooting for the underdogs of course! I love watching the Super Bowl commercials more than any other part!

Been a rough week with a lot of friends losing people they love as well as quite a few deaths in the surrounding communities. Hopefully everyone is able to pick up the pieces and carry on with life.

Washing Machine Drama

Wednesday, February 03, 2010

Trying to find a good used washer at a good price is much harder than I thought. We really can't afford a new machine with all my medical bills. Hopefully something comes up soon!

I "bought the farm", and got a big fancy one. Like I said, I'm going to have to work a lot of double shifts, to pay for mine!!!! It's a Whirlpool Cabrio - digital, high tech, as my DD said!

In our part of Wyo. we don't have Craig's list, but we use KSL.com which is a Salt Lake City, UT TV station. They have classified ads. I don't know if Casper Star does that or not.

Craigslist can have great deals on them!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Have you checked the newspaper or Habitat Restore? Craig's List is another alternative. Put some feelers out with your neighbors, family, work, and/or church. Something might pop up from a source you least expect.

February Starts with a Bang

Tuesday, February 02, 2010

Wow so far February is off to just a wonderful start.... The washing machine died mid load yesterday morning. EMT class is still going on with the lovely commute! I still can't seem to find my groove with tracking food and staying in ranges and all that jazz. I seem to have lost my mojo!

Your life is sounding more like mine everyday!! LOL!!! We HAVE to hang in there, brighter days will surely come....... emoticon

Oh, don't worry about it ;) It's only the third day - there are 25 days that could possibly not suck! ;) LOL! Give yourself a little wiggle room for now, or take a day off if you really need it, but maybe a nice walk or exercise to decompress your brain is exactly what you need to help you feel better! Either way, you can do it! :)

Oh technology. It always seems to fizzle when we need it most! ;) One christmas when I was a kid, my mum was in the middle of cooking the bird when the oven died on us. And we were having company. *laughs* My poor mum! Luckily we were house sitting for the next door neighbours, so we called them, and got to use their oven for christmas dinner! I can't image how frazzled she must have been, running back and forth between houses to check dinner!

    Hang in there! emoticon
