Goals for 2010

Friday, January 01, 2010

Here are just a few of my goals for this year:

Do at least 10 minutes of fitness each day.

Meditate daily, even if it is for 1 minute.

Stop using negative self-talk (I'm really hard on myself about most things).

Manage my stress level better. To do this, I am planning on doing things for myself...these can be anything from meditating, doing a short fitness break, playing wii, reading, journaling, etc.

Use a calendar like Coach Nicole has done to visually see my streaks (highlighting the days I meet my goals). I loved her blog about this and think that will help me realize how well I am actually doing with my goals.

Continue with my no soda streak. 3+ months and going strong!!

As always changes are hard for me. Your listing are simple and easy for making goals.
They also make you think " WHY DID I NOT THINK of THAT ".

Blessing on you and yours.

I like your goals, because they sound more like lifestyle changes and not just temporary resolutions.

Denise, I read a great book called PIVOT (can't remember the author) about having a positive attitude. My first thought when I read some of the "activities" was that it was a bit goofy. And yet, the simplicity of the ideas actually had an impact on my messages to myself. I loved the book.

Playing the wii is a great way to de-stress. I've never been a big fan of video games, but when I can play a game that requires standing up and moving around on the wii, I really enjoy it.
