Good morning, SparkPeople!
Last week, we let you know that we were getting ready to launch a big new Community feature, Friend Feed, so that you'd have a change to edit your privacy settings before the feature launched. Based on the comments we received, you guys are as excited about this new feature as we are!
Today, we launched Friend Feed (which includes a "Current Status" feature that allows you to earn 1 SparkPoint per day by updating your status)! These new features allow you to keep up with your mutual SparkFriends, and helps them to stay up-to-date with you more easily! Put simply, your Friend Feed shows all of the SparkPeople Community activities of your friends in one place.
You can read this informational article to learn exactly how to find and use these features!
We are very excited to launch the Friend Feed and Current Status features, because we think it will help you stay in contact, get support and better communicate with your SparkFriends and others in the Community. We hope you enjoy learning more about your mutual friends and updating the Community with your status!

We are launching a pretty big Community feature next week, a "Friend Feed" that shows the activity of all your friends in one place. Before the launch though we are going to make the "privacy settings" page for this feature available, so people can opt out of this feature if they would like.
You can click the link below to learn more about this new feature. Thanks!

SparkPeople is proud to announce that we now have a FREE application available that runs on iPhone and iPod touch devices! If you own an iPhone or iPod touch, then you can download SparkPeople's application, the iPhone Food & Fitness Tracker, to stay on track when you're on the go!
For iPhone & iPod touch Owners
Our first application has the basics—our food tracker plus "QuickTrack" for fitness and water consumption—but we will be adding many more features soon. Best of all, the application automatically synchronizes with your SparkPeople.com account. You can download our application from iTunes for your iPhone or iPod touch. To learn more about our application (and get a link to download it for free), read this full article.
If You Don't Have an iPhone
Even if you don't have an iPhone or iPod touch, we bet you know somebody who does! We'd love for you to help us spread the word to that iPhone and iPod touch users can use their device in conjunction with SparkPeople! And be sure to tell your friends what you like about SparkPeople. Finally, if you have another type of cell phone that can browse the Internet, you can use a mobile version of our site. Click here to learn more about SparkPeople Mobile.
We hope our iPhone and iPod touch users will enjoy using this application, and that our helpful and supportive members will continue to Spread the Spark to tell even more people about SparkPeople—and our free iPhone application, too!

We're excited to tell you about a great new feature on SparkPeople's Nutrition Tracker. It's called Nutrition Feedback. Basically, when you're done tracking your food for the day, you can now see a special Nutrition Feedback page that shows you which nutrition goals you met, went under and went over. If you go over or under on a nutrient, you'll get a tip (which rotates so you'll always get new information over time) to help you get back into your goal range. Currently, the Nutrition Feedback page features tips and information on 15 of the most commonly tracked nutrients, but we hope to add more over time.
Please check out this Tutorial Video, which shows you exactly how to use this brand new feature and get even more out of your Nutrition Tracker.

We hope you enjoy using your Nutrition Feedback page, and that it will help you learn more about your diet and how to reach your goals.
