I use this planner each week. I agree with Suzholle, I wish we could use our recipe box/collections. It is the only way to get a meal added to the tracker beyond 6 days out. PLEASE add that ability. Currently I add to planner from my recipe collection, but as I said, I can only add 6 days out. It makes it difficult to plan ahead and impossible to have a complete grocery list. Thanks for your consideration.

I love the idea of the Family Meal Planner. It's so easy to swap out recipes and add to the tracker but it would be really awesome if we could add in our recipes from our own recipe box, those from our recipe collection and other members recipes. Also, adding "Category" such as Chicken, Soup etc. to the meal filter would be great. Thanks for the great work on this.

Is there a way that once you have selected your meals, that we can get a print out of a week's worth of ingredients. It would not have to combine ingredients - just list for each meal. Then, I could pick up what I needed when I went grocery shopping on Sunday. I tried to make my own list, so I would not have to carry the recipes with me to grocery store - It forgot stuff. The 2nd week, I tried to carry the recipes with me, I lost one of them. Someone is making a very delicious Chicken Parmesan thanks to me. Report Inappropriate Comment |

I'm back! I've used this feature for the last two weeks. The only suggestion/request I have would be to see if you (collectively) can figure out a way to include member-added meals to the menu planner for the week. After adding all the dishes from the Dinner Planner, and then printing out our menu, I had to go back in and manually add the dishes. That was fine, but would really be great if they were automatically added when the menu is generated to be printed. Otherwise, I love this tool! It's great to sit down with my husband and pick out what meals we're having when. The up-tick in variety is exactly what we needed, and it takes the guesswork out of having to go through so many yummy recipes, trying to pick just one. C~ Report Inappropriate Comment |

Thanks, now this is something I can really use right now. Besides my disability I have just been diagnosed with asthma and I am trying to figure out how to deal with this while the doctors come up with a plan on treating it. Sick of the docs right now. Anyway, darling sweet hubby, who is diabetic, has recently taken a serious interest in meal planning (a first in 34 years mind you) and since he is the master griller he has been grilling some wonderful veggies and chicken. But we need a change up and a little planning. This meal healthy family meal planning may just be the help we need. Since my son will eat almost anything and we are all into healthy, I thank you for this.

good idea, but it would be nice to have a feature that allows smaller families or singles to reduce the number of servings. If I really want to make something I can adjust it myself, but if the idea is quick and simple adding in extra steps defeats the purpose!! I think I'll stick to things a bit more customizable, but I'm sure others will get a lot out of it!

Climbed 20 flights of stairs with my husband yesterday. I really felt the burn, but loved doing something like that w/ my husband. He's a natural athelete, and I'm a recovering couch potato! It took us about 30 min, he probably could have done it in 10 min, but we did it together which was what made it so great! The view of SF Bay from the top was magnificent. Then we took a 30 min stroll along the waterfront.

I started with a 15 min walk and now I am going to the ymca every weekday and Saturdays cutting the grass. I feel so much better and have lost 8 pounds since June 7th. Of course I stayed on track but I am feeling great. Thanks for your help.
