Turned down tacos. Yay, me! Even though yeah the corn makes me sick. I miss tacos.
Need to figure out how to make "nutrition notes" for other things than GERD. I do have those, but I would like to have something generalized or for tracking food allergies. I tried to start a note thing on my kindle on a different diet program and it just won't save things properly. I should delete that and get something else.
Kept to my trackers today.
Knee was better for long enough to work in the garden, plant a few things for greens for the chickens, cover half the raised bed, remove some dead plants, and clean up the chicken messes, scrub the walk, and take care of their food and water, etc. That's the best it's been all week. Just threw it out again walking across a bare floor. How does that happen? I'm tired of it.
Still need to figure out where the granddaughter put my resistance bands.

Finally, all three chickens are laying. You can't see the green cast to the Arucana eggs very well, but these are the first ones we've had. Odd they both started laying the very first time at the same time!
Plus one gratuitous photo of two sleeping cats, learning to tolerate each other. Barely... hahaha! We've come a LONG way with Paws. He still has huge issues with getting along with anyone, but he's trying hard.
I've joined an accountability group associated with WLS, and it involves a lot of journaling.
I'm still using SP tools! They beat anything else I can get free online. I tried a couple of others, but this is the best!
I've tried to use the android app with my kindle. I got the download ok but can't seem to use my recipes or my personal favorites for the diet, so have to come online to do food and such. Kind of a waste of time to get the app if I can't customize it.
Still probably not going to be participating in groups, much. I just don't have the time.
Hope that everyone is having a great holiday season!

Ron's daughter's mother in law's mother is dying, and Ronnie spent half the day with her and her husband, just visiting and chatting. They're lovely people. It was kind of him. I missed him but he has to work anyway, tonight, and so he would have been sleeping.
I stayed home to cook, instead, and stay with Raud. I put a small turkey in, and baked it slowly. I was missing the stuffing, yesterday. Then I got an idea... I made my usual paleo muffin recipe without the blueberries or sweetness, and added sautéed onions and celery, parsley and sage, some pepper and salt, and put it in the muffin tins to bake. They came out smelling wonderful, and tasting very stuffing-y, with the turkey gravy I made from chia seeds and almond flour. Delicious! Ronnie and Raud even had seconds!
My son called from St. John's, which was awesome! I didn't get to speak with him directly because of my hearing loss, but oh it was lovely to have him on the other end of the line and know that he is doing all right! What a wonderful place to be! He's getting a lot of great experiences that I don't think he could get anywhere else, and I'm so glad that he has this opportunity. I miss him, though.
I decided that, if he stays, I'm going to visit when I lose my first 100 lbs. 60 to go!

We had ours a day early, due to family conflicts with Ron's daughter. I'll still be cooking a turkey breast for us, today. It was very nice to go with her. I did eat turkey and green beans, and made a nice pumpkin mousse that was sugarless, grainless and organic. Ron and Raud and I ate it. The grandson was nice enough to say he liked it, but they did have real pie, after all, and I can't compete with that! Not trying to. But I thought it came out really good and I don't feel deprived at all, tonight.
The crust was mostly almonds. The mousse was chia and greek yogurt, molasses and stevia, and pumpkin. I was pretty pleased, considering.
The hard part is missing my sister and our holiday breakfasts of leftovers the morning after. Now that was our celebration. We'd have quite a hen fest and it would go late, with lots of turkey and stuffing and gravy. Most of all, I miss her friendship. I'm so very thankful for the blessing of having her in my life.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, and all of your family and loved ones!
Or Happy Thansgivukkah, if you celebrate Hannukah. Have a blessed holiday!

I've been invited to the stepdaughter's for Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure what to do, other than bring my own food, I guess?
Allergies are really bad lately. Sticking to organics helps.
Made a great celeric soup last night.
I did upload my grain free banana blueberry muffin recipe They are higher in protein.
