Whirlwind

Sunday, December 14, 2014

Walking/exercise is back, but controlling eating is not. This has been a hectic time, I work for two different section of the school district and I have to be extremely flexible with my schedule, next week is finals testing and I have to find a way to make sure all my students have enough time to complete the exam and the times I meet them can change as quickly as 15 minutes before I teach them. My mother returned from yesterday from being in the hospital for 3 weeks and 2 hours ago she had to go back internal bleeding and they are not sure of the source. So I will have to work harder to make sure I am eating right.
Sweet dreams, sleep well and God bless

Today did not go as planned

Thursday, December 04, 2014

The day started out wonderfully well with lots of sleep.
I got a call for a full day assignment which is rare, but that good fortune also had some setbacks. They needed someone who could get to the assignment in 15 minutes and that meant I would be buying lunch and dinner on the road. I made good choices, but the fat and calories were still higher than I wanted, because I was not able to exercise today. tomorrow and Friday I have the same assignment so I will be able to work in exercise and meals.
Sweet dreams my friends, sleep well and God bless

PS My images blog will return starting Friday emoticon

Life's all about small adjustments Syd. I know you already know this but it never hurts to hear it again every once in awhile. I'm so glad you've had your stitches removed, that's progress! Now go tie 'em all in a knot. emoticon

Don't beat yourself up over a small slip up. At least you are aware of the choices and you can do better today. Good that you got the assignment!! You can do it!! Eileen

Today has ended and tomorrow begins

Wednesday, December 03, 2014

Today my stitches came out and I was finally able to regain control of my portion sizes.
Tomorrow I want to start my exercise programs, but a busy day and last minute schedule changes may make that impossible.
Sweet dreams my friends, sleep well and God bless

Don't stress over not being able to do everything right now. Small steps get you to the goal too. Glad the stitches are out. Take care of yourself and good luck!

Great that you got your stitches out - that had to have felt wonderful! I had stitches on the bottom of my foot as a teenager - that was *NOOOOOOOO* fun!

Perhaps your busy day did you a favor - I'm sure you would want to take the exercise slower for a bit .......... take care and continue to treat yourself gently!

December 2nd it begins a new

Sunday, November 30, 2014

Typing is difficult so I will keep this short. On December 2nd the stitches in my elbow and arm come out and I will once again be able and very willing to return to exercising and losing weight. I will also be able to reconnect to friends who may have thought me lost due to the absence of my daily blog, which I look forward to creating.
Have a great day and when you retire for an evening of rest,
sweet dreams my friend, sleep well and God bless emoticon

Wonderful! The stitches are out...and you sound ready to go, but take it one day at a time. Proper healing takes time..."ĎAn ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." (Benjamin Franklin). You'll be back to your previous level of performance before you know it!

Take care!
