Even though I haven't been blogging, I am still here. I got a bike, and it is wonderful. I did 22.37 miles yesterday. It seems that I am already addicted.

Beach day

I had a lot fun at the beach today. My daughter even convinced me to go farther into the water than I have ever gone before. I was exhausted after carrying chairs and towels and everything else half a mile or so to the beach, then spending 30 minutes or more in the water I had to lay down with my sister on the beach. Until the rain came and we practically ran carrying all our stuff up hill back to our cars. But it was a really nice day, and a very fun way to get in some exercise.

headache

I have been doing so well and then comes along a headache. Not just a headache. A headache to end all headaches. I do have severe migraines sometimes, but this seemed like the worst one that I have had in a very long time. This completely derailed my fitness activity. At least I stayed on track with my nutrition plan.

    Watch caffeine, since I stopped drinking soda daily sometimes I will have something with caffeine in it and I will get the worst head ache imaginable!! Worse then any of my migraines! (sometimes if you don't read the fine print caffeine is hidden). Good luck on your journey

tried Insanity

I decided to try out Insanity today, just to see the differences in it and Turbofire. I did the fit test today and if I decide to do it I will defiantly need a better sports bra. It is really intense and I CAN NOT do push ups at all. I really want to work on that. But I could do everything else and it was a really good workout, even though it was just a fit test. I got the video off of you tube, because I cant afford another video right now. I have a friend that has the program though, and she is doing it right now. I am interested in finding out how it works out for her. She is pretty fit already and just wants to tone up.

    Wow! you are trying everything....good for you!
I'm getting a little better but I was not able to do push ups either and I started doing the wall push ups, there is two, the first with hands close forming a diamond shape and the other is with the hands apart, this has made me stronger....I know trying to hold a plank for 30 seconds or more....that also gives you a lot of strength and as you get stronger you can add time and repetition.

    emoticon on finishing the fit test. It is NO joke and if you do decide you do the program you will DEFINITELY need a new sports bra because today was just the beginning of the jumping. I know what you mean about the push-ups. I could hardly do 3 push-ups when I started but now I can do 36 of those push-up jacks in the minute. emoticon emoticon .

    When I feel blah, I make sure to get in my workout that day.. No matter how you felt before, you'll always feel better about yourself after your workout.

    We all do at times.....the most important thing is not to stay there long.
Just focus in the positive things that are happening with your new lifestyle to get motivated again.
