OOh!! That is hard. Good for you though!!! I quit smoking a long time ago - and am happy to say I never feel tempted. The things that helped me the most were
#1 finding lots of things to distract myself with - so I didn't dwell on it and #2 talking about my goals/hopes for not smoking with the friends I had who got it and could help me get clear about why I wanted to quit.
You probably know all that already - but sometimes it's just nice to hear confirmation.

Hang in there though - and seriously - good for you!!

Well done you, it's really hard to stop smoking. You need something to keep those hands busy. Do you have a hobby or maybe you can think of something new.

I brush my teeth emoticon who wants to get food all over those pearly whites!!!! I use mint toothpaste so that gives me some sweet mouth sensation and I continue drinking water all evening emoticon that helps fill me up. What you have be able to do is tell the difference between real hunger and head hunger. I actually find the real tummy growling hunger is so much easier to deal with than that head/mouth hunger that drives me to the kitchen emoticon And finally if you are really hungry and you've met your calorie intake for the day... eat only protein and only a serving emoticon

I always find something else to do, they say that wait 10 minutes and find something else to do then if after 10 minutes the craving is still there just go for it. I have been to the shop bought chocolate thought I would wait until I get home to sit down and enjoy it, and then when I get home I have forgotten that I bought it. Does not always work? but I would give it a go if I were you, if you are thinking about food after dinner maybe you need more dinner or you missed out on snacks during the day.

I hang out on the SP website and work on earning SparkPoints (read SP articles, write blogs, journal, exercise, watch SP videos, listen to SP radio, write messages, etc.).

At other times I get involved with my hobbies (knitting, scrapbooking, jewellery creation). The hobbies keep my hands busy. And I keep a big jug of water nearby to drink when I have a craving to eat.

I also make sure that I am keeping my blood sugar levels stable by following my meal/snack plan by eating approximately every 3 hours.

I agree, drink water. Check to be sure you've gotten enough protien. Do something to distract yourself: go outside, play with a pet, read, clean, anything!

Try to drink some water to see if that helps you. Also it takes 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain it is satisfied. I hope you can hold on that long and see how you feel!
