Week 1 Summary

Well, well, well. It has been a busy week and the scales have proven their point. If I don't slow down and pay attention to what I am eating and record then I will see the negative results. My exercise has been minimal so running up and down stairs all day does not warrant any weight loss.
I am up 2 lbs this week. The coming week will need to be much more structured or this challenge will be a danger zone.
I will work hard at watching my intake and increasing the exercise.

Time Has Flown

Tis time to sow and reap the benefits. I can hardly believe that the first Challenge I took part in is done. I thankfully lost 7 lbs and look forward to losing many more in the next Spring into Summer Challenge. It has been a wonderful experience.
Not only am I conscious of every meal I prepare and every mouthful I injest but I am moving again! It is wonderful and all thanks to the encouragement and support from the Determined Daisies and the 5% Winter into Spring Teams! They have been absolutely A1! Thank you all, each and every one.
Hope you are all signing up for another Challenge and will reward yourself with a pat on the back for putting your self in #1 position. Hugs to all, Pat

I am enjoying a wonderful breakfast and want to share with you.
1/4 C feta
1/4 C red quinoa
1/4 C green beans, cooked
1/4 C gala apple, chopped
1/4 C 1% cottage cheese
It is delightful with just the right amount of crunch, sweet and sour.
Try it you may love it!

Too Busy Lizzy!

Jeepers Creepers! I am on track with food but my exercise has gone by the wayside. We have been having too much fun on March Break with the Lovely granddaughters and 3 wonderful nieces. Having young energetic children to be entertained and to entertain has taken lots of time and energy...but I have not slotted time enough for my exercise and stretching today. I will do better tomorrow because exercise will give me more energy and move me closer to my goals of health and fitness.
