Thursday, April 03, 2014

Those of you who know me, know that I love my gadgets anything to make weight loss a more interesting..

I've been wanting something like this for a while... a scale that syncs to you ipad and counts the calories in your food - my portion control is rubbish so maybe if this gets funded it will help !

So its not a suprise

Week 2: (4.4)lbs
Week 3: (0.0)lbs
Week 4: 2.4 lbs gained - back on track now

Week 3 weigh in results - 10 wks until my first goal

Thursday, March 13, 2014

This week can only be described as hitting the wall.

No loss on the scale it just isn't budging, in some ways I expected it after eating way too many nuts and another part of me thought that someone my 4/5lbs off per week streak might just continue.

But it all uphill from here on in time to climb the wall and get to the other side. emoticon

Week 1: (5.0)lbs
Week 2: (4.4)lbs
Week 3: (0.0)lbs

My now 10 weeks challenge is to drop a dress size (15-20)lbs its still achievable but there no time for slacking. emoticon spinning will be my best friend of the next few weeks!

The Next Goal - getting it down writing

Saturday, March 08, 2014

Seeing my goal writing down in black and white has always been the best way for me to focus on them.

So here it is my next goal:

Drop a dress size by 22 May. (At a guess this goal is 15-20 lbs away) emoticon

Why the 22nd - 2 very good friends are getting married that weekend and I don't want to be hiding away from the camera

This give me 11 weeks so consistent losses of 1.5lbs per week would get me right smack bag in the mid of my target.

(I read somewhere that goals feel more achievable if it is a range rather than an absolute number as it allows a little flexibility so I thought I would try this philosophy out to see if it helps )!

My plan for doing this is to continue eating paleo with 3 trips to the gym per week. This will get tough in April as I will be UK doing the final taught phase of my degree. But I am prepared and have found a gym i can join for a the two week i am there. Then the real challenge the hen party weekend in Spain hopefully we will do enough walking to counter the wine drinking !
