JUNK (can't tell you the times...)
I was at a Girl Scout Sing-a-long and Movie night with my daughter at the National Harbor. From the time we parked the car, until the time that the actual movie, "Tangled" began, I consumed the following foods:
One White Macadamia cookie leftover from my daughter's Subway meal. I ate that getting out of the car!! Ugh! I couldn't bear to see it left in the car while we were out and about. Bad decision. But one is better than three.
My daughter and I shared a large Mango Italian Ice from Rita's. We were passing by on our way back to the car to get the lawn chairs. So, I'm guessing it was around 5:30p that I ate this. Rita's does have a sugar -free variety of their Italian ice; but they were out all out when we passed by. So, this was straight sugar!
Mike & Ike Zours!! More sugar! What in the world. I a few handfuls (by "handfuls" I mean about 5-6...what you see in the picture) These were consumed while watching the movie when everyone was out there chomping on all kinds of stuff. And, I was chomping too. I would say that I probably had bout 15 of those little candies.
And that's it. The later portion of the day just went to pot. I intended to make good choices today ESPECIALLY because weigh-in is tomorrow. That's really why I brought my sugar snap peas and carrots. That was supposed to be a snack for during the movie. But, I wound up eating that with my lunch.
But, I can't be too mad about my day. Honestly, there were a lot worse things that I wanted and there was just food food food down there. Fortunately for me, it's all expensive food food food. So although I wanted to try gelato for the first time, I couldn't bring myself to pay the ridiculous price for a very very small amount. So, we didn't get it. And although we intended to get some cupcakes at Cake Love, the line was crazy long so we decided to leave. That's why we wound up at Rita's! LOL
So, not a perfect day, but not TOOO bad either. I survived to tell the tale.

Today, was a church fast day until dinnertime...
DINNER (5:00 p.m.)
I decided to make me two personal sized pizzas using whole wheat pita bread. Remember, I'm not counting calories, but if I were, I could tell you that each full pita is 150 calories.
Here are the ingredients I decided to use:
As far as portions go, I used 2 pitas, two tablespoons of pizza sauce, 2 oz. of goat cheese (I LOVE love love goat cheese!), a cup of fresh chopped spinach, .5 cup of portabella mushrooms, a few slices of white onion and about .25 cup of the Italian Five Cheese (which includes mozzarella, provolone, asiago, romano and parmesan with cream cheese.
All ready to go in the oven:
After 8-10 minutes, it's plated:
Then quartered and ready to be consumed:
All I can say is yum yum yum! The pictures don't do them justice. I love making these little personal pizzas using the pita bread. It's fast and easy and already portioned. I probably could have eaten one and been satisfied. I think I scarffed them both down in about 10 minutes. LOL That's not good. I DEFINITELY wasn't listening to my body. But, when I was done, I didn't feel stuffed at all. I just felt satisfied.
Then it was off to church for rehearsal. I feel like I got my cardio in during rehearsal. I was seriously sweating. I could probably count that as a workout; but it's not a cardio day anyway so I won't bother tracking it.
SNACK (10:45 p.m.):
I believe I'll be up pretty late tonight so I'm not worried about eating that snack so late. I have to catch up on all the stuff waiting in my DVR... :-) Also, my hubby is going out of town with my Pastor and one of the choirs to Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; and Gary, Indiana and has to be at church at about 2:00 a.m. to board the bus. So, I need to be up anyway. They'll be returning Monday evening. If you're in those cities, they'll be at the following churches:
Friday: Mt. Zion Assembly of the Apostolic Faith (Wisconsin)
Saturday: Grace Apostolic Faith Church (Illinois) - for the Illinois State Council
Sunday: Logan Park Assembly of Christ (Indiana)
I'm looking forward to TOMORROW. When I get the kids off to school, I'll go hit my one assignment for tomorrow and then come straight back home and enjoy some ME ME ME time! Whooohoooo! I have been looking forward to tomorrow all week! LOL Oh my goodness... What ever shall I do? Oh me oh my oh me... LOL

See you tomorrow!!...or not. LOL
