I can't believe how much that 24 hours of no sleep impacted me! I was totally out of whack and my regular routines, totally out of sync. I didn't get on the computer. I didn't log any food. And I didn't workout. I was seriously like a zombie! And after I got home from working, I could only sleep for about 4 hours because I had to go to church for a rehearsal. It was just go go go...
After rehearsal, I could have worked out.... I guess. BUT, my body and MY MIND were calling for something else...
So, I used just good old fashioned WISDOM and gave my body what it REALLY needed for optimal health and that, my friends, was SLEEP...not exercise.
So, there was no exercise on Day 25.... 3rd day missed out of my 40/40 Challenge.
But, TODAY is Day 26...
It's a beautiful SPRING SPRING SPRING day!!!
So, when I got home from work I put on my workout clothes and hit the streets for a nice brisk walk. The wind was blowing ever so gently and the sun was shining spectacularly!
I could have walked until the sun went down. It was just gorgeous out. So, I walked for 55 minutes at a 16 mile/min pace (according to SparkPeople).
So, Day 26 of 40/40 Challenge was done!! And I am back to normal!! Whoowee!
