Well wasn't able to get here yesterday to do much. Was so busy and then when I found time, I couldn't get on the internet until late last night. I got on with my tablet when I got in bed and just put in my calories and did my update for the 5% challenge.
I thought I had a set back as a friend sent me a tiny box of the Whitman chocolates..the one with 4 pieces but when I put them in my calorie count I still stayed under the 1500 calories so felt so much better. But think it may have gotten me on a chocolate binge. I had a hot cocoa this morning but I've tracked the calories so it won't be as bad either. But got the chocolate tea out and will be drinking it instead now..it really helps..it is by Biglow and I have to order it online. I order a case of it, pumpkin spice and eggnog tea for the holidays. I keep some and give some as gifts as they are hard to find in stores and just as cheap to order as to find in a store and buy. I also got out my Stash tea that is almond flavored and then I have a wonderful loose tea that is jasmine. I love it in summer iced. it tastes like the teas they use in the Japanese tea gardens..and since it is a green tea, it is quite good for you in losing weight..My usual favorite is Earl Grey and I really need to get a decaf of it so I can have a cup in the evening hours. I drink it with splend and a touch of milk..I justify and track the milk as know the milk offsets in the calcium that the tea may deplete from my body.
Exercise is coming along too. I'm getting 15 minutes of core exercises each day and trying to walk. I'm still doing about 10minutes of walking in but today I will walk in place as it is pouring and due to rain for several day. I haven't gotten my yoga tape ot work yet. I don't have the spare tv and VCR set up to use..need to put that on my to-do list.
But the 5% challenge is off to a good start.
