List YOUR reasons/excuses on why YOUR diets and exercise plans have not been well executed in the past. give 3 or 4 reasons and for each write a strategy that will keep you on track for 8 weeks. Let's learn from our past behaviors and make this our best Challenge ever!
1Main reason or excuse is that I procrastinate. I think about going out to walk and then something else catches my eye that I'd rather do and so I wind up doing it first and then may not get to the main issue of walking and exercise.
2. One excuse on overeating one day maybe as I make some kind of goodie for hubby and then I indulge as well. With warmer weather coming soon, I've decided not to make the sweet indulgences...It won't hurt him and especially will help me in the long run.
3. I have good intentions on exercise and then (since I don't like exercise) I put it on the back burner of my mind and just refuse to do it especially if I have the least little ache and pain. I justify not doing the exercises to the fact that it will make me hurt worse. I'm going to try to start overcoming those excuses and just start planning it.
4. One thing I think good thoughts but don't put it in writing. I need to write out my daily plan each day. Thinking to write each evening a plan for the next day and write in exercise or walking as first thing to do. Once I get it done first thing in the morning then I can get on with the rest of the day and not fret over the fact that I haven't done anything for exercise..no regrets this way.
