Things have changed since the beginning

I have now started losing weight since I first began. I am trying to be more patient week to week. I have started walking more than I use to and I have changed my diet once again. I am presently at about 171 pounds and need to get down to 125 pounds. I know I need to incorporate more sleep in my schedule and less snacking and more exercise. emoticon

My Recent realization

For so many times in my weight loss journey I have realized that I have spoken about going to gym on some days , but yet never make it there. I finally realized how important it really is and I have to get my priorities straight. health is a very important thing because for one, we only get one life to live so we need to do it right. we can not allow other things or other people to talk us out of the exercise. we have to be strong, so we can live long. learn to embrace life and take care of yourself.

My birthday

Here it is my birthday and I have recently been losing motivation to go to the gym. However, I find other ways to exercise like housework or helping others out do different things. I keep forgetting what is the correct amount of exercise to do, so I keep switching up . I am losing weight, but my sleeping schedule is still off.

the heat

I have already gotten sick from the heat. this is one part of the year I hate. I have not gone to the gym for awhile, but I plan to go starting this week again. I wish our gym had a pool. I am still losing weight. I am hoping that I am able to continue. I enjoy eating fruits when I can and I enjoy relaxing when I can also. I am hoping no one gets sick from this heat this summer. if you do , remember a good thing to do is eat ice cubes or add them to your drinks. do not over exert yourself or do things that are overwhelming. what I have done in the past was to keep cool by either keeping my feet in cold water, sitting in a cool bath or keeping a wet rag around my neck. anything that keeps you cool.

I got on my scale this morning and to my surprise it did not work anymore. I decided I would buy another someday except it would not be digital anymore. I hate it when you have to replace batteries.

    I have a weight watchers digital scale got from Kohls for 20 dollars
It weighs the same as our scale at TOPS chapter
