New Position in TOPS

Friday, July 11, 2014

As of August 2014 I will be becoming a co-leader in my TOPS group. I am hoping that there will be a lot of good changes. I am hoping to reach my goal by the end of this year. I have 16 more pounds to go and then I will be happy to have reached that point. I am on a menu plan right now which is quite good. My life is getting to be in order little by little. I am hoping all members are doing well. As of next month some time I will have my own computer again. At the moment I am using a library computer. My birthday gift next month is going to be a Google Chrome laptop. I will be able to be online more often than I have over the last 7 or 8 months.

i am getting closer to my goal weight since I had it changed

Wednesday, July 02, 2014

My goal weight originally was set by my doctor for 126 pounds. My dietician thought that was to low, so now my goal is 140 pounds. I am presently at 156 pounds and I have now become a co-leader of my tops group. I am very excited about it and hope to be of help to others. I presently do not have a computer, so I am using the computer at the library. When I get one in the near future I will do my best to keep in touch with sparkpeople.

Mine also was originally set at 125 for a 5'5' me. It's the ideal weight set on the doctor's and insurance company's charts.

When I hit 143, I knew 125 was too low. I'm 51 years old. 143 was thin enough. Anything lower and I'd look sickly. My face was already thin, approaching too thin, skeletal like as was my neck and collar bone. Arms and legs thin enough. My only ncomplaint with my body at 143 was I still had a bit of a tummy! No 6-pack there! emoticon But it was nothing a few crunches wouldn't help!

See how you like 140! Nothing's written in stone and you could lower it if you think you'd like to. Good luck Hon!

Things have changed since the beginning

Saturday, October 12, 2013

I have now started losing weight since I first began. I am trying to be more patient week to week. I have started walking more than I use to and I have changed my diet once again. I am presently at about 171 pounds and need to get down to 125 pounds. I know I need to incorporate more sleep in my schedule and less snacking and more exercise. emoticon

My Recent realization

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

For so many times in my weight loss journey I have realized that I have spoken about going to gym on some days , but yet never make it there. I finally realized how important it really is and I have to get my priorities straight. health is a very important thing because for one, we only get one life to live so we need to do it right. we can not allow other things or other people to talk us out of the exercise. we have to be strong, so we can live long. learn to embrace life and take care of yourself.
