I love these Flat Outs! 90 calories! And 9g of protein!
This is what I've been having for breakfast everyday for the last few weeks
I had a craving last night for fried oysters with tartar sauce. So my challenge was to try and make it as low cal as possible.
1. TARTAR SAUCE: (reg has 160 calories- mine has 60 cals) next time I will add some finely chopped pickles to this:
2 BREADING: this fish fry seasoning was way too salty. Next time I will use just a tad with a little flour (no milk or egg wash)
3 OIL: I used Zero calorie butter spray to fry them. I wasn't sure if this would work or not, but it work great!
4 One medium oyster has approx. 40 calories ( plus a few more cals for the breading) I ate 5 of them. Very filling!
I made this yesterday and it was so delicious! It's not very sweet (I like sweet!) so I used a little bit of sugar free maple syrup on top.
So easy to make it low cal and it has all the same flavor as the regular stuff.
The last 2 batches I added the "secret" ingredient. Picture says it all...
