I rarely watch TV, and even more rarely do I watch movies. But in the past few weeks I have been on a Netflix kick, and I have found some goodies. If you have time I would highly suggest: Forks Over Knives, The Vanishing of the Bees, and The Beautiful Truth.
Highlights of what blew me away
Forks Over Knives
I had no idea that consuming dairy actually cases the body to leech calcium FROM the bones. Not what I have been told all these years.
There is a clear, scientific connection between animal products and disease. Undeniable.
The Vanishing of The Bees
Systemic pesticides are why bees are vanishing. It destroys their nervous systems. The US is willing to consider "riskiness" of allowing this even after European countries chose to ban. Essentially our country is willing to put us at risk.
An organic bee keeper tried to set up in Illinois, but was forced to move to Virginia when he realized his bees will always die b/c of the monoculture of vast acres of corn and soybeans. Terrifying since I live in the heartland of Illinois surrounded by those very fields.
The Beautiful Truth
Using the same technology that can capture the auras of people, it is clear that organic has more life force than conventionally grown, and that raw far outshines cooked.
The fillings in your mouth are so toxic it would blow your mind, but getting them removed by most dentists will kill you even faster. Most dental assistants are at huge risk for fertility issues.
I think it was less the impact of just one film, but the fact that I watched them within a matter of a couple of weeks. Much of the info was familiar to me, but some was new. All of it was disturbing. It only affirms that everything that I strive to do, no matter how seemingly fanatical or against the grain, I do for a reason. Because I know better. And because once I know something I simply MUST do something with that knowledge. Here's to better living!
If you have seem these films, let me know what YOU thought!
