Wednesday!

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Still on the cooler side, only in the very low 50's again, but hey the sun is shinning and that makes it better, suppose to see low to mid 60's tomorrow and Friday. I did the exercise class this morning, but keep doing something to my left knee, so didn't walk this afternoon, don't have exercise class tomorrow so maybe will just walk and see what the knee does. DD had bought a pair of slacks and they were way too long on her, so got them hemmed for her this afternoon, so now she can wear them to work.

Hope all are having a wonderful Wed.

Positives

Thankful for this day.

Sunshine is nice.

A little warmer temps tomorrow.

A day of eating healthy.

Getting in some exercise.

Blessings.

Hugs,
Shirl

So great to hear you had sunshine today. It was dreary here all day with a high of 48 degrees. It is now down to 36 and is supposed to be a low of 20 degrees tonight.
So sorry to hear your knee is causing your problems... prayers for you that it isn't anything serious. Glad you are taking a break in the exercise class and hopefully walking will be okay for you without any trouble.
WAY TO GO on your healthy eating and positives!!! I really enjoy reading them!
Prayers, blessings and hugs,
Helen

Shirl, glad it's warming up...It's overcast here but looks like the sun wants to pop out...it just isn't sure it wants to show its face.

Sorry to read about your knee. Hopefully if you baby it a bit, it will feel better.

Like Tina, no sewing skills here at all. I have a nice pile of clothes that need fixing...one of these days I'll get out of work early enough to bring them to the tailor.

Blessings & hugs.

So nice to hear that the sun is out today! Sorry to hear about your knee. Probably a good idea to not walk today. I hope it's nothing serious. It's great that you can help out your DD by hemming her pants. I just never did much sewing. If I'm considering clothing that needs alterations, I won't even buy it. Keep up the great work on the healthy eating and exercise.

It's a lot cooler today low 50's not suppose to be real warm this week, one of the coolest April's that I ever remember, it's certainly taking it's sweet time to warm up.

Potluck was good last night a great variety of food and desserts, had lots of help cleaning up. Brought home some leftovers and that will be supper tonight.

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!

We are under a severe rain warning for our area tonight. I'm actually looking forward to listening to the sound of rain...at least I don't have to shovel it *grin*.
Yay for not having to cook tonight, enjoy your leftovers.

Hugs,
Wanda

Shirl, nice that you don't have to cook tonight. Yesterday I was craving Whole Foods' tuna salad with Fuji apples & cranberries so stopped to get some. Having that again tonight with some healthy sweet potato chips & guacamole. Can't wait to get home to eat!

Enjoy your evening. Blessings & hugs.

Glad you enjoyed the potluck last night. Teri fixed a whole chicken (which we never do) and added garlic and lemons and rosemary. It was so juicy and just fell off the bone when I cut into it. There is enough for a couple more meals too. I enjoy leftovers most of the time because the work is already done. I just heat up the food; it's quick and easy. I bought a bunch of fruit over the weekend and Teri used it to make a dessert pizza. It was yummy and I ate more fruit than I would have otherwise. Hope your day is a good one!
