Monday July 21, 2014 Getting hotter and humid around here.

Monday, July 21, 2014

I went to my physical therapy this morning, and did a lot of work on both my arms and legs. I'm working on my legs to be able to bend, and tie my shoes. I also did some work with water weights, and I'm feeling that now. Met my sister down in Burlington for a bit, then came home, and took a nap. I got up, and turned on the AC and it's nice and comfy in here now. I just hate the electric bill when it comes. Got all my goals done yestarday, and stayed within my calorie range.

My goals for Tuesday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark
spending at least 30 mintues on Spark people tracking my food and exercise.

Sounds like you had a good day even with the humid weather. Good for you! We had rain and cool temperatures, but it's heading back into the 90's for NC.

Sunday July 20, 2014, Another gorgeous day out there.

Sunday, July 20, 2014

I'm not sure where all this great weather is coming from but I'm not arguing with it. It's been a great week here all week weather wise, and I hated to spend a minute inside. I did really well on the exercise goal all week. I did 5 of the 7 days again so I'm not feeling too bad about that. It's easy with my physical therapy because that's twice a week, and 45 minutes. Then I spend the rest of the time walking, and doing my own swimming. The other goals I did really well as well. The housework I had to keep up because we got inspected again. Again I asked the manager, and she said it was the government funded subsidy that I get for rent, and that the building was getting inspected by them, not me. That still means that I have to keep a neat apartment. Who wants people to see a messy place?

On the good news I finally got my Vermont Renter's rebate after spending the last three months arguing with them, and giving them more forms then I had to before. It was worth it though. 800.00 dollars worth it. That check was cashed and put into bills, and I did some grocery shopping on Thursday with it. All good fruit and stuff like that.

My goals for this week are:

90 minutes of writing
90 mnutes of reading
90 minutes of housework
60 minutes of strength training
180 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark 6 of the 7 days

My goals for Monday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under th 2000 mark

We had some really great weather, too. Now it's raining but still cool. Okay with me.

When my house is clean I do better at reaching my goals, Do you find that to be true? Good for you that you got your rebate, even if it was a hassle! That's fantastic.

Glad you are getting your exercise in and the weather is good. Here too.

What a rebate on rent, so glad it was a big check to keep things paid.

I'm not goofing around as much on my computer now that it is weed season.
Always some chore to do.

May you always reach your goals.

Take heart, Zzyyggy, happens to all of us. I really blew it on my trip and am now trying to reverse the damage. None of us is perfect, but at least we get to get up and try again.
