Getting things done today. I'm still not 100 percent better, but I'm getting there. At least I'm up and about. I'm trying to clean my apartment as well. It looks like a hurricane hit it, and I'm the only one that lives here lol.

Last week didn't work very well on any of my goals. I did get some exercise in, and because I didn't eat very much stayed within, or under my calorie range. I got quite a bit of reading done.

My goals for this week are:

90 minutes of writing
90 minutes of reading
90 minutes of housework
60 minutes of strength training
180 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 20000 mark

Day 20th of my blog a thon

My goals for Sunday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of hourswork
15 minutes of reading
10 mintues of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark
spending at least 30 minutes on Spark people tracking my food and exercise

Friday April 18, 2014 I am free today

I have nothing planned and nothing to do today. The sun is out, and there is a clear blue sky up there. I'm lingering over my coffee this morning, and just doing what I call puttering around. I don't have anywhere to go, nor do I have to make any phone calls yeah. I do have to do my state taxes, but I have a six months extension so theres no hurry. I plan to work on them tomorrow.
Got all my goals done yestarday. I also go a pretty good chunk of my to do list done.

I had to walk up to Rite aid which is all up hill from where I am about a 40 minute walk. I just took it easy and rested for a bit. I also had to stop at the post office which was on the way. Picked up my things at Rite aid, and did some shopping, and then walked home. It was a bit chilly but it felt good. I stayed under the 2000 mark.

My goals for Friday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark

    Glad that you are feeling up to getting out! There is a really bad cold and cough going around and my hubby is down with it and has been for the week. I hope you will take it easy and not overdo. Great that you did not go to the senior home and infect anyone. If everyone would do that a lot of illness could be avoided.

Thursday April 17, 2014 Almost there

I'm getting better. Yestarday was a day spent mostly in bed, and sleeping. I only took some advil that was the only thing I had on hand. Today I'm going to go out and pick up some Bendryl, or the generic brand. My whole body is just achy and I've been sneezing and coughing up a storm. I'm feeling a lot better though in spirit and have a little more energy then I did yestarday morning. I had to call in sick for class. I hated to do that, but I just wasn't feeling up to it. Also our work group part of the day was in a senior center so that wouldn't have been a good idea bringing germs into there. Like I say I'm feeling a lot better today. We have no class today because of the Easter Holidays.

Tuesday's class was our mock interviews. I was pretty nervous, but my interviewer said I did pretty well. I had all the right answers, and didn't hesitate. I need to work on my body language a little bit, and my fidgetyness. We also had a meeting with the program director, and a one on one meeting with our teacher. Then we had a celebratory lunch at Tiny Thai restaurant in Winooski. It's a small thai restaurant, and I had a beef stir fry which was really good. Our work group went on to clean a house at Hope works which is a refuge for rape and incest victims.

Tuesday was really wild weather wise. It was raining cats and dogs, and windier then anything. Later on it got colder, and snowed. I think that's part of the reason why I'm not feeling well. I wasn't dressed for it. It was just a miserable day altogether.

Needless to say I haven't worked on my goals the last two days. I did get a mile of a walk at home tape done on Tuesday. I haven't eaten as many calories as usual though. I think both days were below my calorie range. I haven't inputted Tuesdays yet, and yestarday I just had some sprite, and water most of the day. I did have a bowl of cheerios to munch on. I love just plain cheeerios to munch on sometimes.

Today is day 17 of the blog a thon

    When you're sick, the main goal is to get better! Just rest so you can feel better, sooner.
