The sun is out again today, and making everything just a bit cheerful. I'm up and getting stuff ready to go getting dressed in shifts. It's suppose to be a lot warmer today which is good because I have a lot of errands to do after class. I need to do grocery shopping which is not one of my favorite things to do, and pick up some quarters for laundry. I couldn't do that yestarday because it was pouring, and windy out.

Got all my goals done yestarday except again the writing. I really have to get back into that but with the class going on I just feel pooped out when I get home. I hoped that my walk would have woken me up, but it just pooped me out more. I stayed within my calorie range though, and got the reading and housework done.

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark
spending at least 30 mintues on Spark people tracking my food and exercise

  


Wednesday April 23, 2014 Where did the sun go?

It's very overcast today, dark and gloomy out. I hope the sun comes back out soon. It's also suppose to be colder, but I haven't felt any difference yet. Course I'm not outside yet either.

Yestarday we went to a job fair for class. It was allright, but too crowded for me. The fair was at the Hilton down town, and there were a lot of people there. I didn't find anything interesting there except for the temp agencies. I may try those on the computer for a bit. We also went over the tapes of our mock interviews in the morning. Mine won't be viewed until today, but the two we saw yestarday the people did really well although they didn't seem to think so. I don't think I did that well either, but once the interview started I forgot about the camera being there.

Got all my goals done yestarday except for the writing part. I had to do some homework so I didn't get to it. I went way over the 2000 mark yestarday. I did get my walking in though before it started raining.

My goals for Wednesday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 mintues of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000mark

    Best wishes on hitting all your goals. I know what you mean about the amount of time on this site. I just figure that it's another hour each day I am focused on something and not eating! Lol.

Tuesday April 22, 2014 I'm slowly getting started today

I didn't want to get up this morning. I just wanted to stay curled up in my bed, but the alarm went off at 6:30, then at 6:45, and 9 minutes each time after that. Yes I hit the snooze button in the morning. I'm very guilty of that. Then I wonder why I have to rush around in the morning lol. Most mornings though I do get up at 6:45 when it goes off the second time.

Got all my goals done yestarday. I stayed under the 2000 mark, but I didn't get out and walk. I did get some exercise doing housework though.

Day 22 of the blog a thon

My goals for Tuesday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark

    Hmm, well, it's 11:30 and I'm still in my pj's. Most days are a slow start for me. If I had to wake up at 6:30, I would only be getting 3 to 4 hours of sleep, most nights. You did better than I did yesterday. Today will be better, right?

Monday April 21, 2014 It's very dark out there.

It's getting very dark out there, and ominous. I didn't see the weather last night so I don't know what's up. I hope we get a nice thunder storm, I haven't seen one of those in awhile. I'll have to get off the computer that's the only problem.

I had a very quiet Easter yestarday. Got a quick walk in in the afternoon, it was so nice. I went to church in the morning. I usually go at the 5:00 mass on Saturdays but that one had been canceled for the 7:00 Easter Vigil. That's a 4 hour long mass, and I wasn't interested in staying up that late. Plus it's also a children's mass.

I went out to dinner with my sister and Brother-in-law, and we had a nice quiet meal. The service wasn't that great. We waited quite awhile for the food, and the restaurant wasn't that busy, but the food was good. I had a bacon cheeseburger. I don't go out that often and that's my treat.

I went over the 2000 mark yestarday. I did get quite a few of my other goals done though. I didn't get much writing done. I'm going to have to work on that one.

Getting things done today. I'm still not 100 percent better, but I'm getting there. At least I'm up and about. I'm trying to clean my apartment as well. It looks like a hurricane hit it, and I'm the only one that lives here lol.

Last week didn't work very well on any of my goals. I did get some exercise in, and because I didn't eat very much stayed within, or under my calorie range. I got quite a bit of reading done.

My goals for this week are:

90 minutes of writing
90 minutes of reading
90 minutes of housework
60 minutes of strength training
180 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 20000 mark

Day 20th of my blog a thon

My goals for Sunday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of hourswork
15 minutes of reading
10 mintues of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 or under the 2000 mark
spending at least 30 minutes on Spark people tracking my food and exercise
