Great for families! You can do hikes, play in the river, mountain climb, bike, you name it! There is also a spring fed swimming pool!

Eldorado is a great place but definately for the week day!
This canyon is absolutely beautiful, although you have to pay $7.00 per car to get into the park, if you want a day by the river (cold!) you can have a nice day. Totally a weekday getaway though. There were so many people there on Sunday you could barely find room to get through the one road through the canyon.
We went yesterday and it was peaceful and mostly quiet. Highway 93 into Eldorado Springs and then into the canyon.
It is beautiful, there are a lot of hiking trails and such too! It's a nice place to get to. I hope you enjoy it!
