I mostly go to the club on Elgin in Midtown. I love the Aqua Aerobics classes
I am looking for a workout buddy to join me at the 24 hour fitness on Westheimer close to the beltway.
I just joined 24 hour fitness (off Westview) and it was $9.00 sign-up and $29.00 a month. My insurance company had a contract with 24 hour fitness to join for $29 and pay $29 on a month-to-month no contract, but my salesman, David Burns signed me up on a $9. sign-up fee at 29.00 month to month, no contract.
I remember signing up for 24 hour fitness about 10 years ago and it was a $265 sign up for a one year contact at $35.00 a month, but I could only go to the one gym. This time I have access to all the 24 hour gyms that I can find. and I can go to the one on Post-Oak where they have the pool. It includes all the classes, everywhere, etc. I'm not sure if this was a special or not.
I also got a special trainer pack for $99.00 for 3 sessions and then when I get my next package of 5, I will get $129.00 off. Since I haven't done anything in 10 years. (I mean anything) I thought it was important to invest in a trainer to at least get started with a trainer to understand what and why I was doing something. The other times I was just thrown out into the gym and had to figure out a routine by myself.
Anyway, I'm writing a book here. I'm sort of jazzed about it all right now. Sam and David have promised that they will keep me motivated, whether I like it or not! lol.
I talked to David Burns if anyone wants to check out the Spring Branch location.

I go to the one on Westview in Spring Branch. It fits into my schedule and the equipment is great. I just wish it was open earlier on the weekends since I get up so early.
Am just starting to get back into working out and I really have a lot of weight to lose. Both my son &i go to the Midtown 24hour,and I am looking for an addition workoutbuddy.
I go to L.A. Fitness because of the choices of classes offered. I don't know much about the other gyms in the area.
