I live near SMU - anyone need a workout buddy there? A few friends meeting up would even be better - the more the merrier. I am working out twice daily (7-9am and 6-8pm). come on!.

I would be happy to walk with others if it is on the weekend. I have to be at work before 8am on weekdays in Irving. If someone wants to pm me about doing a walk on weekends, I would be happy to join.

I have found a group that actively walks White Rock Lake weekly. (as well as a few other locations around town).

They usually meet either Wed/Thurs mornings around 10am plus on the weekends between 7-8am.

Go to MeetUp.com and do a search for walking groups. I have not yet been able to join in, but hope to soon. The lady who sponsors the walking group also sponsors a bike riding group. They also train for races and lots of good things.

to: NeonCandel /anyone else interested - I love to walk at WR and am looking for a walking partner as well. Weekdays mornings are the most ideal for me.
I have a friend who occasionally meets me to walk, but she has a son that is handicapped and we most often have to cancel our walk because he isn't feeling well. None of her other friends will schedule anything with her due to the inconsistency of her son's health. I would like to find a walking friend who enjoys walking in the beautiful surroundings of the lake, and won't mind if on occasion my lovliest of friends gets to tag along!
