Maoz Vegetarian is an international, quick service vegetarian restaurant chain, which brought to the world the delicious Maoz sandwich: FALAFEL.
Our menu is strictly vegetarian and is based on simplicity, freshness and care. Our famous Maoz sandwich is home baked pita bread filled with crispy,
handmade Falafel balls which are made from chickpeas, a vitamin rich legume, packed with plenty of proteins, minerals and vitamin B. The chickpeas
are blended daily with fresh spices and vegetables and then fried in zero trans-fat Canola oil.
All of our salads and sauces are freshly prepared every day using handpicked ingredients to assure superior quality and freshness.

Try Holy Land Market on St. Marks place between avenues 1st and A. It's a little Israeli grocery store and I think they had cans of picked eggplants.
What is the nutritional content for the food? I picked up a menu from the UWS one yesterday, but, there was no nutritional info on the items. If I can't see the calorie content, then it can't go into my mouth!
I've been to the one near Union Square, it my favorite place to eat out at(which is rare). Actually the only place I eat out at.
I've been to the Moaz on the UWS. Really liked it! They have fresh squeezed juices too. Check it out!
Are there calorie counts for the food at Maoz?
I visited the one in Union Square. There's also one on 8th Street and one is coming to the UWS.
The salad bar is great.. I feel in love with the pickled baby eggplant. Does anyone where I can find these in the city?
