Plainfield Parks & Trails

- Submitted by LA_BAVARDE - 5 Comments

Resource Details Below

Plainfield has a several parks and a great trail system. The trails are paved, and go for several miles already. Eventually, they are supposed to encompass the entire town. The trails are beautiful, as are the parks. Check out the website for more info, including maps.

Hi all, just moved to Avon and feeling a bit isolated. I would like to find places to walk and people to walk with. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, where is the best place to work out indoors when the weather is bad?

I live in Plainfield and I love the parks and trails! They are also great for biking and rollerblading. If you live in a town nearby, I highly recommend them!

Does anyone know if these trails are marked for mileage? I'm training for a marathon and need trails that have markers at least every mile, preferably every 1/2 mile.

Plainfield is a lovely place for walks and such. I used to live there, years ago. Looking for friends to walk with. Live near Avon now.

Black Bean "Hummus"
Submitted By: SP_STEPF

This dip doesn't have many of the same ingredients as hummus, but it is about the same consistency. I spread this on bread or tortillas with vegetables for a quick sandwich, I dip carrots and celery into it, and I eat it with tortilla chips for a snack. Full Recipe
