Resource Details Below

Columbus has an awesome system of 15 metro parks around the area. Hiking trails, bridle paths, fishing, etc. They have lots of program offerings from hikes of varying lengths and difficult, to gardening info, to preschool and homeschooler programs. Check out the website for the sites, facilities, and programs.

I worked for Metro Park this past year! I was a naturalist intern and believe me, even as an employee, Metro Parks is a great system! If you are trying to get in shape, the trails are great because you get to spend time enjoying the beautiful outdoors while you get healthier. Also, there is the commit to be fit hikes which are great! Metro Parks is great and I fully intend to continue supporting and using the parks even though I'm not working for them anymore.
