The UTBT is located in residential northwest Hillsborough County. Currently, the trail runs along the
west shore of Channel A from a trailhead off Memorial Highway/Montaque St, past Waters Avenue,
Linebaugh, and then due north to Gunn Highway, Ehrlich Road and ending at Peterson Road Park. The
current 7.25 miles make up the first three phases of a four-phase project. Eventually, the Upper Tampa
Bay Trail will extend seven to eight more miles, connecting to the 41-mile Suncoast Trail. (The trail borders several commercial areas that allow walkers and bikers to stop for snacks or shopping.)

Are dogs allowed on this trail? I'm not too far away from it, but will be moving soon and I think I'll be closer to it. I would love to take my dogs with me while I walk... and maybe even try to run with them a little.
I love this trail!!!! I've lost at least 30 pounds bicycling on this trail :)
I have not been on the trail since it was extended . I live closer than when I had to drive to wilsky and park and walk. Know All I have to do is enter on Sheldon, but I am not motivated with the sun as hot as it gets. The trail will be fine when some trees are planted and fully grown.
Just ran this today for the first time. Love it! Started near Gunn and Ehrlich near Citrus Park Mall.
i have been a fan of this trail for years now, it connects basically from my back yard i can start walking the trail and so far only have gotten to linebaugh but goal is to walk til citrus park mall
Just moved to Tampa and took my 13 month old for a walk on this trail yesterday. We went from Erlich to Wilsky and back. I LOVED it! We stopped for a picnic lunch at the shaded area near Wilsky. We will definitely make this a weekly event. Any other moms interested in joining in?
