Cleveland Rock Gym

- Submitted by KARASSA - 1 Comments

Resource Details Below

Climbing gym on the East Side.

The Cleveland Rock Gym is divided into two, main climbing areas:

* Bouldering Area
* Top Rope Area

The bouldering area is 10 feet high but can be quite difficult for new climbers. The top rope area is 30 feet high but requires someone to work the ropes (a belayer). So you'll need one of the following to climb the "tall walls":

1. A Belay Card issued by the Cleveland Rock Gym (if you've belayed previously you can take the Belay Test, but first time climbers will need to take the Belay class first).
2. A reservation (so we can have staff on hand to belay for you).

Cleveland Rock Gym does not have staff available to belay for walk-ins. If you cannot belay or do not have a belayer in your party, you must make a reservation.

Mediterranean Chicken with Orzo (Chef Meg's Makeover)
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

This healthful Mediterranean dish got a makeover from Chef Meg. She lowered the salt content and added parsley and capers for freshness and flavor. She also reduced the cooking time to keep the orzo from getting too soft and used plum tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes to keep the dish from getting too thin. Try serving this with steamed broccolini. Full Recipe
