Comments From Other Members:

Does anyone who works out at the Midtown YWCA feel like ever meeting up and meeting other spark members? I love it here! Any additional motivation to show up and work out on my three days a week is always welcome!

A friend and I and our children joined the Y. I'm very pleased. They offer classes (including water aerobics - which I enjoy as a way to mix up my fitness regimen) and that wonderful indoor track. Even when it's busy, there is always something to do--I've gotten a chance to row on some of those more hectic days. I also love the Fit Kids Gym. It's nice to have my 5 year old daughter all excited about getting to go "work out." Very cool!

This is a great facility. Especially the huge indoor running track, it makes winter running possible without getting on a treadmill.

Anyone use the childcare here? I have a 31/2 year old and wondering if he would be bored like he is at presently at the Bally's childcare.

I love the Midtown Y. It's never too busy, there's a great selection of machines, and everyone is nice, employees and members both. I'm so happy I joined.

I love working out here! Just got home and again could get my heart rate up, sweat and watch the headlines in just 20 minutes.

Island Chicken with Pineapple Salsa (Chef Meg's Makeover)
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

Chef Meg modified a member-submitted recipe to make it even easier and more nutritious than before.

Fruit is often a back-up ingredient or side dish at dinnertime, but it gets a co-starring role in this meal.

Serve this flavorful, lean chicken dish over brown rice or with a baked sweet potato and steamed green beans. Full Recipe
