This prairie path is great. You can get on it in so many places. We like to start off in Hillside usually because we are closest to there. It is beautiful. You can find pictures of the path and a full map of it online. There are lots of trees, restrooms, parking and water along the way.I love it because you get a great work out and get to enjoy the outdoors. Check it out!

The link is inoperative. I'll do a Google search for it. Thanks!
I love to run and walk my dog on the prairie path. I always come home and tell my family I ran all the way to Villa Park, which is only about 3 miles but it sounds so far.
See you on "the path"!

I share the love of the path with you all. I cannot wait for spring to run on it again. I miss it. I love to smell the green. The air after a rain. I love being on it in the rain.
It is a source of tranquility in this busy world. And have met the nicest people there too just like you.

I too love the Illinois Prairie Path. I discovered it as a child with some friends, (we lived two blocks from it in Bellwood/Hillside), and still take my mom's dog and my kids for a walk along it when we come visit every weekend. Maybe we should start an IPP walking group!
