Walkway along Puget Sound with views of downtown skyline, ferries, mountains, Magnolia and people!! One can walk East to the point and the site of LUNA PARK (an old amusement park), heading west...walk around the point where the Lighthouse is to Beach Drive SW. (this is a great place to watch the water when it is stormy.) Great shops, restaurants, as well as one of 39 1/18 scale Statue of Liberty's in the country...newly restored.

I walk/run down Alki beech doing my couch to 5k sessions. It's lovely there.
Glad to hear people walking in West Seattle. I more often walk Lincoln Park, down along the water and up along the bluff. It's a good circuit to get in a good workout because of the hills, and it's lovely to look out on water and mountains. Feels very away from the city. And if I want to intensify my workout, I walk the water, then up the hill, down again to the water, and up again. There are numbers of places to climb the hill to build stamina.
I workout on the beach with a friend... so lovely
As much fun for the people watching as it is for anything else. the only things to be careful of are the fabulous pubs along Harbor Ave.
It is a wonderful beach to walk along.
