Comments From Other Members:

I was a member of the Monroeville LA Fitness. I was taking my two children ages 4 & 3 to the kids club, I was outraged by the irresponsible conduct of the staff. I had several instances where the club was understaffed, not paying attention, lazy and downright rude. The final straw for me was when I went to collect my kids and there was a 6 month old baby laying on the hard cold floor crying and the girl working there alone 17 years old was talking to her friend. There was atleast 10 other children running around the room and I asked her who was responsible here the friend quickly said I clocked out. That wasn't a good enough answer for me. I felt like crying for that baby. Most evenings that I went to get my kids they would tell me that their computer was down so that they couldn't check us out properly and even more outrageous than that the gate was unlocked. I took my complaints to the manager Doris but all I got was a 'we'll work on it'. I used the club a couple of more times without taking my kids in and just kept my eye on the kids club to see if any changes were made but unfortunately nothing had changed. I was too disapointed in the attitude and feel that the kids club is an accident waiting to happen. I canceled my membership and just workout at home. LA Fitness is a tempting place to workout in. It is open, the staff seem friendly ( at first!) but beware of their kids club! And why they have the kid's club in the front of the gym with just a glass wall to the street is a sign to me that these people don't care about kids, they just want to target mom's as a marketing segment.

I've heard they have a special going on because of the new Robinson one. I don't know the price though, but I'm thinking of checking it out if it's pretty cheap.

Are all the Pittsburgh LA Fitness gyms giving this discounted price? (if anyone knows)

Cheaper than Curves? Seriously? I should check it out. There's one in Monroeville too.

I go to the one at Pleasant Hills and I love it. So far I've been doing the water aerobics and going to try a few other classes this week. Used to belong to curves but this is cheaper and much more to do. Well worth the money.

I love it! I go to the one in Pleasant Hills. Im looking for someone that wants to go to spinning classes with me. I have been going almost everyday.

I was also pushed into the personal trainer way but I hated the guy that did that PT session with me plus he told me that it was so stupid to have lost 20 pounds in a month just by doing the same routine. That was my biggest accomplishment and he crushed it!!! But I found out he doesnt work there anymore.
