Comments From Other Members:
There aren/t enough clubs around the city. I belonged to the one downtown. I stopped working downtown last year and there is not another one in south suburbs where I live too bad!
I was a member of W3 but stopped going a few months ago. The location I attended in Hometown was not conducive to a good workout for working people. It didn't open until 6a and it caters to many stay at home moms and elderly/retired people. The women yell across the gym and spend more time socializing then working out. There was one elderly woman who would take naps on the machines. One set would take more than 15 minutes. I am by no means knocking these women for working out and applaud their ability to continue working out as they get older but it doesn't work well for someone like me still working needing to get in and workout and get done. It also doesn't help when you can only schedule 30 min at a time on the cardio machines and when the women would sign up, most times they wouldn't use the machine and when you get on they show up a few minutes later wanting the machine because they made it with 1 minute to spare in the grace period. I'm not knocking the gym because I lost the first 30 of my 60 pounds there but it isn't a great place for those who need more. Also, the equipment in this location needs a serious facelift.
I lost 45 pounds and got my life back at WWW in NC. I don't have one near me now but I wish I did. It has circuit weight program like curves AND a lot of cool cardio machines. Because there are only women, everyone felt comfortable and we weren't looking over our shoulders at men or feeling watched or having to use equipment after men had sweated it up ;)
I was inspired by other women there in all phases of their own transformations (particularly a runner, a morbidly obese woman with a ton of courage and one woman going through chemo and still bringing herself every day with her scarf on her head) and there was a sense of belonging and team work that you don't get at other gyms. It was small but I never had to wait for a machine. I transformed my life there. I highly recommend WWW.

I love my gym. I just wish it was open on the weekends (I belong to the one downtown)! The staff is nice and friendly, plenty of equipment and classes to choose from.
I used to belong to a WWW but then had to move. Wish there were more of them around!
I have been a member of WWW since 1985. The club has seen me thru many life experiences. I joined the club just because I have always tried to exercise at home and it just didn't work for me. I needed babysitting to focus on myself with none of the distractions at home.
All I have to do is show up and once I am there the fun begins. Really. Work out World has kept up with the newest exercise routines, zumba kickboxing, aerobics, toning, yoga, pilates, strength training and a whole lot more.
