I love this park. It has everything you could want. They have a 5 mile trail you can bike/walk/etc on. I go around that 2x per time for a 10 mile bike ride. It's located around a lake and they have a boat house you can go to and rent paddle boats/canoes/etc or you can take your own to the boat launch. They have tons of play grounds located all over. They have an ice skating rink, one of the biggest pools I've ever seen and plenty of other fun activities. At the area where they have the pool it is approx a .7 of a mile around the pool you can walk to get a little warm up before swimming or even just to change up your regular walking routine. They have 2 baseball fields, dirt trails and another 1 mile trail located right next to the pool. They have probably about 5 + Tennis courts that has 3 courts together in a fenced in area x 5 or more for a possibility of 15 or so courts but they are rarely all full so you have plenty of privacy. They have their own bike repair shop where you can get your bikes fixed or even rent one for the day ( they even have tandem!) A restaurant open only during the summer that everyone raves about called the Tomato Pie Cafe and batting cages, driving range and golf located on the opposite side of the street.

I enjoy walking around Pie Traynor field also...so peaceful
My sister, TEE803, & I love to power walk at the walking/biking trails up around Pie Traynor field, by the swimming pool.
There's also great hiking trails there too! Our best workout was one day when we got "lost" for a little while:D

Haven't been there for a while but you're right - it is a great place. I think I may have to go visit there again soon.... :)
I live right up the road from North Park. It is truly a great park. It has so much to offer for exercise. I prefer the walk/run around the lake for 5 miles. I love to stop by and see the Canadian Geese near the lake. They are beautiful.
