As a large woman I was uncomfortable at the thought of going to a Pilates studio. I thought I would be surrounded by thin people. I was surprised to see the sessions were really private. It was just the teacher and myself. She was patient and creative in her approach to teaching. When I didn't get something, she tried another way and I did get it.
