This is an awesome park with bike trails, frisbee golf, nature trails, golf, a lake with rental boats and fishing, soccer fields, and more. It's very pretty and has a short loop and a long loop on the paved trails for walking, biking, roller blading, etc.

It is wonderful to have so many great parks available in the Greater Cincinnati area. My husband and I have been trying to walk a different trail each time we go for our walks. We live closest to Miami Whitewater but like to visit Winton Woods, Sharon Woods and Shawnee Lookout as well.
My wife and I go there quite often. We enjoy the badlands trail, oakleaf trail and tallgrass prarie trail.
If you enjoy nature trails, there are three great ones that all start and end close to a parking lot that has a restroom with running water and flush toilets. There is a water fountain at the parking lot also. You might want to check on when these facilities might be closed for winter, but they are great for the warmer weather. The Oakleaf Trail, Badlands Trail, and the Parcours Trail all start and end near this parking lot.
There are a number of trails at MIami Whitewater Forest in addition to the Shaker Trace Outer and Inner paved loops. There are a number of unpaved trails through the forest that are nice for short walks. The Badlands Inner and Outer Loops offer about a mile to 1.5 miles of walking depending on which loop you choose. There is the Tallgrass Prairie Trails is a short trail that goes through the wooded area, and a small prairie area. I have walked most of these trails, and have some further pictures available at http://stevehikes.bl
