I had the WORST day at work this morning. I got off to a good start but by 9:00 things had started going downhill and it was one piece of bad news after another till about 12:30. At the point where I wanted to scream, I took a 15 minute break and took myself for a walk. At the point where I wanted to start shoving chocolate in my face, I grabbed a piece of chocolate mint gum and started chewing.
I stuck with the food for the day that I had packed, I drank a TON of water, and I did allow myself a little chocolate break in the afternoon (calculated into my totals for the day). I had a little dish of peanut butter M&Ms, which I sucked on to make them last longer, instead of just chowing down on them like I usually do. Turns out the coating on M&Ms is kind of gross, LOL.
I'm so very proud of myself for sticking to my plan, in spite of the stress of the day. I'm only on day three, but it's little victories like this that keep me motivated. :-)
