This is the first time I really "heard" from my body.
For the first 4 weeks, I cooked my meals, and ate chicken & tuna with lots of veggies & salad. Got a lot of great recipes on SP, filling and tasty, and had no problem with cravings.
Last week when I went shopping I decided to go convenience, so bought a bunch of frozen lunches and dinners.
Last night, for the first time in 4 1/2 weeks, I went 300 calories over my range. I'm not getting enough protein from those frozen things, even though they meet the requirements. All I know is 4 oz. of chicken that I cook fills me up for a lot longer than a sodium & sugar drenched frozen thing.
I never noticed it before, because I don't cook often, too much trouble....until now. I was at the grocery store at 7:30 this morning, in my cart was chicken, fresh spinach, mushrooms, and spicy oil to make a new crockpot recipe. Another package of chicken will be boiled and used for my "famous" chicken salad, and enchiladas....
