Tue, 6 Oct 2015 17:16:16 EST What the Heck is WRONG with this Chick?! Our office is very small, and open. Basically, if I'm talking on the phone, unless I whisper, the entire office can hear me. I don't have a door, but one department does: the IT department. And the IT chick is BLASTING like old MC Hammer music or something. I have my headphones on and I can barely hear what I'm listening to. UGH I AM SO ANGRY AND ANNOYED! Why would you think that's ok? I want to go shut her door. Is that rude of me? So from October 1st I started entering my steps each day. I just use a pedometer so nothing clever like syncing. But in the team Leaderboards my steps show as zero. Curious about this as I have been healthy in my body all my life but seem to have horrible teeth. I have spent thousands in root canals, caps to go over the root canals, fillings, gum surgery, etc, etc.

I was wondering if you find you have been healthier in one over the other in a drastic way as I have. Most curious from people over 40 as I know they now seal children's teeth so they don't get cavities. I don't know when that started.

Thanks Sun, 4 Oct 2015 13:54:46 EST Mad at myself for missing exercise session! I wasn't sore. I didn't even have a good reason to skip my exercise session. Sun, 4 Oct 2015 10:49:06 EST I had kind of a light bulb moment yesterday... I've struggled with my weight for much of my adult life, not a unique problem, I know! The hardest has been since having my 3 kids - my oldest is 11 now. I have been up and down with my weight, but never getting back to my pre-3-kids weight. To be honest, I'm OK with never getting back to my "before kids body". Sun, 4 Oct 2015 10:34:21 EST I Can't Do A Day Without . . . I can't start my day out without having two cups of coffee with 1% milk, and it has to be good coffee too. I grind my own. Any time I get lousy coffee at restaurants or have to skip my morning coffee, I think about it all day and stay pretty cranky about it. Even making up for it later in the day doesn't help much. Sat, 3 Oct 2015 09:43:42 EST Enticing Advertising I was just going about my business on SparkPeople, and an advertisement showed up on the left side of my screen for Marie Callendar's pies. Boy, did that Cream Pie look mouthwatering. I know that the advertisers keep SparkPeople a free site (thank goodness for that), and I'm not complaining, but some ads just don't make sense on this site when I'm trying so hard to lose weight. There's this new treatment I read abt in a health and fitness mag called cold sculpting. Basically they put your love handles in a sort of clamp. Then, the machine literally kills your fat cells by freezing them.

Then you go home and within 2 to 3 months, your own body will eliminate the dead fat cells and your love handles will be gone.

This treatment is not for ppl with a lot of fat to lose. Have you gone down in size after significant weight loss? Fri, 11 Sep 2015 10:15:41 EST Challenging days The last two days have been very challenging for me. I am still trying to do my 24 day challenge but the last two days I have worked 16 hour shifts (I'm working now) so I haven't had time to sleep let alone pack my lunch, so I've had to settle for things I found at work in the cafeteria. Tue, 8 Sep 2015 21:24:16 EST Grocery Store Commentators I was in Costco today in the freezer section and I was looking at the different frozen treats available because it's HOT and I thought my family might like some. Do you have local farmers market? How are the prices?

I went to ours recently and as blown away by the prices. $3.00 for a bunch of radishes (5 radishes per bunch), 2 bunches for $5 was typical. Most vegetables were in the $3 to $5 price range per item or bunch.

I can get 2 bunches of radishes at the local grocer for .99. Tue, 14 Jul 2015 14:04:48 EST TEES THAT DON'T SHRINK/know of any? Anyone find a T shirt label that doesn't shrink two sizes in the dryer? I love the 5 dollar tees at Walmart. Cute designs and long. I like tees to come down to right below my hips. I buy them two sizes larger but when I put them in the dryer they shrink and hit me above my bellybutton. I wear tees when exercising so need a lightweight material. It is over 100 degrees here. Thanks. Tue, 14 Jul 2015 12:43:35 EST Spark Coach Do they still offer this feature?
