They are all so nice to me that I usually get them all Christmas pressies during Christmastime. But I can't give pressies that are too expensive as I don't have much of an income. So, it has to be small, nice and economical! Oh! And not forgetting the admin person, she's nice too! So, all in all, I have to get 13 presents!

I have some nice wrappers all ready. Wed, 16 Jul 2014 07:52:23 EST Visiting NYC and need recommendations! Hey folks. In late September/early October, I'm going to NYC for the first time. I don't actually care to see the traditional things. Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Yankee Stadium, etc. I'll see them from a distance, but I don't want to spend a day standing in line to walk around in them. I'd rather 'live the city', methinks.

I'm definitely planning to see two Broadway shows--Les Mis and Phantom of the Opera. They're classics, and I love the music from both, so what better place ... Tue, 15 Jul 2014 13:52:24 EST Slow But Sure Hello SparkPeople!

This is Day Nine. But, it could be a few weeks before I can do strenuous exercise again. I am a little disturbed by this because exercise is a great stress/anxiety release for me. I started the couch to 5k 5 weeks ago. I've been exercising regularly since the end of February. I don't want to lose all the progress I've made. As a pet lover and a cat mom, I enjoy talking with other pet owners about their furbabies. I enjoy hearing funny stories about your pet, how you adopted your pet (or how they adopted you), and even the sad stories (i.e., when you had to say goodbye and see you later (due to their death)). I think pets make a world of difference in our lives and mean more to us than most human relationships, at least this seems to be the case for me. I definitely think that, in many cases, people underestimate... Mon, 14 Jul 2014 11:10:00 EST Weightloss/scale advice I have been going at my new healthy lifestyle since June 9th so not a long time. Sat, 12 Jul 2014 05:03:50 EST Question about WW meetings Hi, so I'm considering doing a month or two of WW meetings to make myself accountable to someone other than myself. I was reading the website, and I'm not clear if you have to choose the same meeting time every week or not. I was going to get a monthly pass, which is unlimited meetings -- which seems like you could go to one time one week, and a different time another week if you wanted. Anyone know for sure? And do you have to go to the same location each week? Thanks. Fri, 11 Jul 2014 22:58:15 EST Love the journey, should it be a career? Sat, 5 Jul 2014 07:39:12 EST My work is: food, food, food. Any Suggestions? Yup, I own a "quickie mart". Anything and everything is in front of me all day, everyday and I'm a sucker for chocolate. I can grab one whenever I want. I don't have any trouble at home as I don't bring the stuff into the house - but at work ... that's my downfall. I've tried all sorts of diets - JC, WW, you name it. I've tried an attitude change "this isn't a diet but a new way of life" ... I've tried just sucking on a lollipop, I've tried sugar free gum, carrot sticks ... I'm all out o... I loved it so much that I've read it a few times and now it's gone! I just wish I hadn't been clearing my room when I wasn't thinking straight and now the book is gone! I just wish I still have it! For those of you that don't know, there is an option in your settings to have your daily calorie range be linked to your daily activity (calories burned). So the more you work out, the more calories you can eat that day. That sounded appealing to me, so I tried this for the last two or three weeks, but so far I haven't made any progress since changing that option (despite trying to eat on the lower end of the new range). So I'm thinking this option isn't the plan for me. Anyone else try this ... Sun, 22 Jun 2014 11:26:57 EST photos Am I the only one who dislikes having my picture taken? It seems like in nearly every single photo, I look like I'm angry or else I have a look on my face that screams "just take the stupid picture already." I'm not unhappy with my body or my looks in general, but I have been in the past and I think this has carried over from then? I'm not sure how to get over it, but I don't want to look back in 20 years and have no good pictures of myself with my kids or my husband.
