Wed, 23 Oct 2013 18:26:23 EST Getting used to smaller portions http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard.asp?imboard=30&imparent=32255773 Sometimes at the end of a day when I've kept strictly to my calories I think, Whoa no wonder I was gaining weight before. Even though I usually eat pretty healthy the amount of calories was way too much for my 55 year old body, even with exercise. But 1200 - 1500 calories doesn't comfort me the way I need it to. How do you all keep yourselves from feeling deprived once your weight is down and you try to maintain? Brand spanking new, as of an hour ago. Went on a painful slow 5? min walk up a tiny incline 'hill' of our street. My big beef and misery is every time I try to get into shape, I do something that puts me almost or entirely flat on my back. Hot Yoga. Ti Chi. Yoga. Low impact, right? Dufus can over do it very easily with bad joints all around (had an exciting and active time while young- now paying for it.lol) Its very depressing. But I do know that a with a low carb diet I can lose w... He is obsessed with our beautiful teenage daughter who is also avoiding me because I do things like gently suggest that she practice test-taking strategies for her upcoming PSAT. My husband spends most of his free time doting on her and is completely oblivious to the fact that she has to prepare for col... Mon, 14 Oct 2013 02:45:23 EST
