Too many people think you can't do it or do much of anything you'd want when you're over 50. I'm planning to make myself better so I can do things I didn't even know I'd want to do when I was younger! Wed, 11 Feb 2015 20:19:15 EST After 50 no doubt it's challenging It's definitely more challenging to lose weight if you've lost muscle and probably bone mass, at least I have. Obviously your BMR is then lower so, to lose weight you gotta get your BMR back and up and running so you can burn more calories doing nothing. I'm working on weight lifting and have already noticed a change and just knowing that my BMR is growing is motivating me to continue. I know this is going to take time, but I've got time.
